Stella's Cafe & Catering

While vacationing in Galena, we wanted to find a good breakfast after a disappointing breakfast at a local place so we researched and found this establishment. We were impressed with the five star rating from the majority of the reviews so we took the 20 minute drive from Galena. Our breakfast was pretty good, the service good and the prices were very reasonable (good coffee for $1). Maybe my husband and I have traveled so much and have eaten at some fabulous places that we've become semi expert foodies. We left satisfied and enjoyed their french toast and hash browns the most. If in the area, we'd dine here again.

Tasty food in a beautiful old building. Service was great as well. We were visiting the area and stopped in for lunch Saturday. Good burgers and sandwiches. We enjoyed it so much we stopped in again Sunday on our way out of town and had the Sunday brunch. It was tasty and very reasonably priced. We really liked the biscuits and gravy... Especially the sausage gravy. It was very good.

Stella's is a favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. Delicious meal options and really nice service. I love the salads and omelets. My husband enjoys everything that's spicy. We go at least 2x a week so you know it's good!

Very filling portions, especially for the price. The staff is very friendly and for the small price you pay, you get a good sized, very tasty meal. While the hours are limited, it is a very busy spot. Even being a busy place, orders are taken and food is brought to you faster than many other "sit down" establishments. The burgers are really great but the breakfasts are phenomenal!

Enjoyed our breakfast here on our short getaway from home. Was our first time visiting and food was great. However, every table was dirty when we arrived and no one bothered to clear us a spot. It took a bit for them to acknowledge us waiting for menus also. Besides that, the food was delicious.

My friend and her two grandchildren and I, were at Stella's Restaurant today in Stockton, enjoying their Breakfast Buffet, for the first time, an absolute A+ from us and we can't forget our server Noah.... Great food. We will definitely be back!!!

Fantastic food. Can't go wrong. Had the hamburger and soup. Both were perfect.

Excellent breakfast & service!!! Hash plate with homemade corn beef hash was great!! Homemade bread is so good. They were so helpful with going off menu to fit special dietary needs. Our waitress Christina was so friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Would highly recommend!!!

Wonderful place. Last December we had a family get together to celebrate my Grandmother's birthday. It was a scene from a Robert Frost poem. Snow was lightly falling. Just turned dark. We had the entire place rented out for about 50 of us. It was a prime rib dinner with all the trimmings. It was the best food I have had in years. I would HIGHLY recommend that you go here!

Excellent hand patted burger. A bit skimpy with the fries which were delicious. Regular drip coffee average but perhaps espresso based drinks are better. They have a professional grade espresso machine. Service great, especially when one young lady was waiting on 9 tables. Worth visiting again for sure.
