This cafe has the mark of craftsmanship that you hope to find in every business you visit. The coffee and food are excellent, the staff are friendly and fast, the space is inviting and comfortable, and the attention to detail is impeccable. I worked for a couple of days here while traveling through the area, and I'll definitely return on my next visit.

I could literally spend all day here. The coffee and food are phenomenal. It is so cozy. There is a swing for couples that reminds me of a little love nest, a beautiful fireplace, and a great view of the river. Great place to connect with people or work remotely. Love it.

Love this place. My friend introduced me to this quaint, riverside health food joint. They have breakfast and lunch options. The food is organic with GF, DF and veg. choices. The coffee and tea selections are impressive. The seating is more comfortable than any restaurant or coffee place. They have couches, oversized chairs, swings and even outdoor seating on their deck by the river. Great place to get some work done, catch up with a friend or cozy up with a good book.

Met there with the ladies of SCWC for our monthly coffee club. Very nice place, and quiet to keep a good conversation. Swinging seats was awesome!

Great place to study/work in St. Charles, plus there is a waterfront view! The atmosphere is typically calm and quiet. The menu is smaller than other shops but very high quality with many options. Gluten free and vegan options for food and snacks.

This is such a great cafe! They offer some really unique food and drink choices that are all so delicious. Plus, the staff is always super friendly and the view is lovely.

I prefer small business coffee shops over national brands. Kava Diem is a perfect solution. The environment is beautiful. There's lots of space where you can socialize or bring your laptop to get some afternoon work done. They have an outdoor patio area which overlooks the river - PRICELESS!
They've also introduced Q's Kitchen to their menu recently which is a differentiator worth highlighting. Healthy food that tastes amazing!! @RyanCarneyRealtor

This place is a real gem. Don't let the small store front deceive you. There is a lot of room in the back with views of the river. A lot of people were gathering for study or conversation as the space is great for that.
For food I ordered the Basic Brekkie. For a drink I ordered the chai latte with oatmilk.
The Basic Brekkie is eggs bacon and toast. They cook their eggs in oil so no dairy there ✅. I opted for the sweet potato substitute instead of bread. The eggs were ordered scrambled and we're perfect. The bacon had a maple syrup taste that was really yum and the sweet potatoes were prepared as little cutlets. They were seasoned nicely too.
The chai latte with oatmilk substitute was really good and dairy free too. I highly recommend it. The combination of chai seasoning with oatmeal tastes very similar to an oatmeal cookie.
Overall I'm really impressed with that location and really enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be going back here in the future.

LOVEEEE this place so much and am so excited to finally have a spot like this in St. Charles. It is exactly what this city needed, & will be my new go to spot. the drinks are delicious, unique, and crafted with heart. The space is beautiful, peaceful, & cozy, and the owners were oh so kind and welcoming! I highly recommend this cafe to anyone!

The nicest cafe to hang out and do work or have a meeting in. Plenty of space so it feels like you can take your time, where some other nice options in the area are so busy you can't stay as long as you want. Menu is definitely more pricey than I'm used to ($10+ for a sandwich) so I make one order last, but for the atmosphere it's worth it!
