I love that this is an organic cafe/coffee shop. The inside is much bigger than I expected. There is a great back patio that overlooks the Fox River. Breakfast was delicious. Prices are above average but worth it. I will definitely be back!

I was a little leary at first. Decided to try them anyway. Glad I did! Food was delicious. Service was great. I'm definitely going back! Can't wait for the patio to open.

Sub par experience. Both drinks were watered down. The food was mediocre. There were flies all over the windowsills and made it very unappetizing it eat. Over priced for the experience. Kind customer service though!

When you first walk into Kava Diem I guarantee you're going to think to yourself, "this is a cute little coffee shop!" But then, if you're planning on staying, you'll place your order then go to find your table, at which point you'll realize that this homey coffee place is actually quite large.
I spend quite a bit of time at Kava Diem and it feels like a community meeting center. There are always small business meetings happening, but then you'll also find mom groups in the toy corner, because yes, there's a toy corner! There's a giant swing to sit on or couches in front of the fireplace. There are ample outlets for anyone trying to get work done.
The shop itself is lovely, but the food and drinks are amazing, too. I love the mocha latte so much that I haven't tried anything else. Why switch up a good thing?! I also love their acai bowls and am so happy there's a legit source of these bowls in the Fox Valley. Add Kava Diem to your list, whether you need to meet up with someone, get some work done, or escape the house for a few minutes.

Fabulous! Cute little café right in downtown St. Charles. Quiet enough to study, work, or enjoy a chill meal with a companion or two. Solid menu, truly something for everyone with omnivore, gluten free, and vegan options. The bakery is largely, if not entirely, gluten free, too. Topping off the excellence, they're a openly LGBTQ+ friendly place!
Thanks for the great meal, Kava Diem! See you soon!

Wow. I admit I've been scared to try this Café. I assumed everything would be made of carrots & oatmilk. I had a delicious iced Chai latte with raspberry syrup & avocado toast made on top of toasted sweet potato. Though my plate was a little smaller than I'd want, I was blown away by the flavor & experience. I'll be back for sure!

Very cool place to grab a good coffee and they have a vegan menu. Super nice staff and chic atmosphere.

Management changed and you can tell! The vegan menu used to be good, but no more. They changed the chickpea scramble to a tofu scramble and it’s the worst tofu scramble I’ve ever tasted. Hash browns used to be great, sigh. Plus food took forever and came out cold. Sad!

We stumbled upon this little gem. The wraps and dessert were delicious. I loved the blackberry chai latte as well. Looking forward to returning.

Gorgeous morning for nitro and avocado toast out on the patio at Kava Diem. Can't beat the views of the Fox River or the combo of excellent coffee and well curated breakfast menu. Super friendly staff! Will be back.
