Cook's Spice Rack & Chili

I enjoyed the food here are breakfast twice here. Friendly staff and pricing was average. Place has some charm to it as well. Only thing negative I found on both times there was slow service.

I've had their smoked pork steak & brisket breakfast special & it was amazing! I highly recommend the homemade marbel rye toast - also, it's hard to find a place that won't over cook an over easy egg, my eggs were perfect 😃

Wow what can I say this is a true hidden gem. They smoke there ribs for twelve hours and make your food from scratch when you order it. It may take a little longer than other restaurants but the food is sooo worth it. The dinners and staff all seem to prefer a slower place and are friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for amazing home cooked food, super friendly staff, an at atmosphere of relaxing family fun look no further than Cooks. Goldie and the staff will treat you like family and your stomach's will fall in love at first bite. I wish there were more than 5 stars ! #gyroomelette <3

Couldn't wait for them to open again. Still have great food but not all items back yet. Will certainly be there frequently.

Hamburger was dry and burnt and potato chips was stale . Waitress did not make it right and you are forced to tip atleast 15% won't return

Cook's has been a favorite for our family for many years. Over the years some of us have moved to AZ and FL. Each time we are in IL visiting family and friends, Cooks is our meeting place! They still know our favorites on the menu, and it's always a Blessing when they make us feel at home! Cook's is a wonderful place that makes you feel like you are part of their family❣

Small but cute. The service was warm and the food was good. Sundays they do a family style and give you plenty wholesome made from scratch deliciousness. Going back soon.

Gluten free options and the staff very Knowledgeable. Portions and prices are great..Clean and interesting atmosphere..
