Cook's has finally re-opened after a long hiatus due to Covid. The first surprise walking in the door is that the walls have been stripped of decoration and re-painted in a soothing light green. Very nice. They also have new menus with most of the old favorites. I had the green chile and the brisket sandwich with slaw and fries. My wife had a veggie skillet, a large portion. All were excellent. We look forward to breakfast here. Glad Cook's is back.

Staff was excellent. Food was good. A lot of variety on the menu. Restaurant has several small rooms so you don't feel crowded. Decor is kitschy and interesting. Unique place. You won't find another quite like it. Food was served hot and quickly. This is our go-to place when I'm in town to take my daughter and her family (with two small kids) to dinner. The staff is really great with children.

Cute place. Went a couple of times to try different dishes. Portion sizes are large and service is nice.

Food lacked flavor. Added hot sauce and pepper to nearly everything trying to make it tasty. My father had pulled pork and said it was dry and he wouldn't order it again.

Tried it twice but probably won't again.

I ate here for a late breakfast. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Eggs great, homemade sourdough today excellent, smoke beef brisket was amazing and the sliced fried potatoes were the best I've ever had. Small place but enough seating and they smoke meats daily. Honestly an awesome place to eat breakfast. Don't know about lunch or dinner but can't imagine it wouldn't be great.

Went there for breakfast and got an Egg Shoe with Gyro meat and cheese sauces along with the gravy. The waitress was super helpful in letting me know my options otherwise I wouldn't have gotten a decked out Egg shoe. The rest of the menu was also awfully intriguing. The decor is very fun to look at and can be a great conversation starter. There is also a large wall of hot sauces ranging from mild to tongue-searing near the register. Would highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area and have the time.

Food was great and staff is the best!! Rhonda was my server. She was world class!! Keep up the good work ya'll!!

Just visiting and my friend took me here for a quick bite. The place is small but very wonderful home cooking. I just had a side of mashed potatoes with white gravy. From the time we placed our order to service was less than 5 minutes. Excellent people

Cook's is a wonderful place to eat. The food is always really great, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always very quiet and peaceful. Plus, the pricing is very fair for the quality. Even better is that since it's locally owned any money you spend here will be returned back into the Springfield community instead of to a big corporation. I eat here all the time and I've never had a bad experience here.
