Amazing food. Feels like an iconic family owned restaurant. We went a few minutes before 7 and they were gracious and let us stay despite it being closing time.
The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because they charge 30c for tap water? Only place I've ever been charged for a glass of tap water in the USA!
Would revisit for sure - with a bottle of water in hand.

Breakfast was delicious and filling. Fast service and friendly people.

VERY DISAPPOINTING! Jubelt's used to be a sit-down restaurant. Not any more. We had to bus and clean our table before we even got food! Then we had to stand in line to order our food. We were charged for glasses of water (and prompted to pay a 15% gratuity)! The food was decent, but just not enough to redeem our visit. We will not be back. So sad.

First impressions were good, the place was kept up pretty well, and it wasn't that busy at the time we arrived there. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich, with a side of fries. I also asked for no honey on my sandwich. Guess what happened next?! My chicken sandwich had HONEY on it. Yes, this may not be that big of a deal, but when I got back home, my stomach thought it was a big deal ... if you know what I mean. Overall though, the service was great, everyone was nice, and I felt a little charm to it. If I were you, I would stop by this place if you're in the town of Litchfield. Definitely one of the best places to eat within Montgomery County, and a good place to stop by between St. Louis and Springfield!

My husband and I went for breakfast at jubelts this morning and today's experience was not good. My husband got biscuts and gravy, sausage and hasbrowns. He said it was very bland and the gravy tasted like yogurt. I also tried the gravy and had to agree. The eggs didnt taste like eggs. Both of our meals came to us almost cold. We didn't send them back, if anything we ate a little and left. They need to go back to having waitresses because honestly if I wanted to order food like I was at a cafeteria, I'd go to one. Needless to say we won't be going back for cold tasteless food.

Very popular with the locals, pastries were delicious. My egg breakfast scramble was loaded with red onions, and they pretty well overpowered everything else. It was also over cheesy. But, it was my first visit, and have tried nothing else yet. Going by it's popularity- I'll be back.

The food here isn’t that bad, but the customer service tends to be consistently poor. On our last trip, our family of four ordered two adult meals and two kids meals. I asked to add another kids meal because our daughter wanted both french toast and an egg. The lady asked, “Well do you have 3 kids?” And then told me I could not order more than one kids meal. This is kind of silly to me since each adult had ordered a full meal, we weren’t trying to order off the kids menu ourselves, but okay. However, they are always so rude in their approach and quite condescending as well. My daughter finished her kids meal of one piece of french toast and one piece of bacon and was still hungry (she’s 7 but one piece of bread is not much) , so we ran through another restaurant to get iced coffees and hashbrowns. Heaven forbid we try to order her more food there and break some kind of rule.
