Reviews sounded great so stopped in with the kids on the way to Springfield, so glad we did. It's an extensive, nicely priced menu and specials. Service sort of old school style. Fun decorations and updated basic decor. Easy parking. Food was good eating in, bakery items were what drove this 5. Combo 4star eatery 5+star bakery. Carmel apple cheesecake bar. What.

The service was incredible! It was really busy when we went in, yet the staff was patient and extremely friendly. The chicken was rather greasy, but still delicious.

Absolutely excellent and very popular with the locals. Went three times in 5 days for breakfast. Only gripe would be cook the hash browns a little more but .....also delicious cookies and baked goods.

Popular place when we stopped for Sunday lunch! Lots of options to choose from. Save some budget to get treats to enjoy now and later from the baked goods

Great mom and pop diner/bakery. Great donuts, get the sugar donuts they are great. It is not very wheelchair friendly, please keep this in mind.

Love to bring my kids and let them stand in front of the wall of donuts spending 20 minutes on picking the perfect donut to make their morning better. They have so many amazingly delicious options, and they are always fresh. The coffee I really good as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful

This is the best local best kept secret in a small town. Staffs friendly and good, fresh food. Any issue is quickly resolved. Best soup!. Best bread and sandwiches! Best fries! Best seasonal SPRITZER cookies!!!!

A sign at the door says to grab a menu and a table. There were 5 tables dirty and the rest were occupied in the small Cafe. The hostess at the register was stacking menus, another was rolling silverware and a couple others were roaming aimlessly behind the donuts. The veteran waitress was doing all the work. When we were bluntly addressed by the hostess stacking menus by asking if we were ready, I acted in kind by telling her all the tables needed bussed. She scanned the restaurant as if it were her first time all morning. Once we had a table and ordered, the waitress left a tray on the table. When the food arrived, I tried giving it to her. She looked at it and almost ran away without taking it. The cheese Danish was the smallest I'd ever purchased, the gravy was not hot and service was nonexistent.
I've been coming here since I was a kid. Not sure if we will be coming back.

I ordered Thanksgiving dinner and it was all delicious. I have eaten there before and it was good. I live in Missouri about a six hour drive and try to eat there. Keep up the great work bakery is awesome. Thank you

The staff seemed stressed and the person taking my order was a bit abrupt. We didnt eat in, we just carried it out. We just got sweet rolls and coffee which was good.
