Tons of food choices. Pleasant interactions with staff. A good amount of outdoor seating. Great coffee and baked goods! This location is a lot homier than their Irving Park location. Love the quality of the coffee at both!

I honestly don't understand how this place is so good. Its not just the coffee. The donuts, pastries, empanadas, and sandwiches are also amazing. I really have to see their kitchen/chef/baker at some point because its too good to be true.

Indoor and outdoor seating. Big and small tables suited to any sort of coffee outing. Stumptown Coffee is really top notch.

the coffee and the food are both great. The guy who works there in the morning has to be one of the friendliest employees of any establishment i have come across and he really makes you feel welcomed. There is a constant stream of customers and quite a few of them he knew by name which was cool.

Backlot is one of my favorite coffee shops on the north side. This place pours out some of the best lattes in all of Chicago area. Their cardamom rose latte has been my favorite for years. They use Pacific barista blend for their almond milk which makes the lattes smooth as silk. The staff is super friendly, you’re likely to catch the owner behind the counter frequently. This place is a gem and I am thankful for it.
