Backlot Coffee

Sort of a nondescript coffee shop. Coffee was decent, clean restrooms, seating very bare bones and uncomfortable. Sort of a modern trend. Didn't try the food but the selection looks decent.

Just what you hope an independent espresso bar would be. High quality Intelligencia coffee, great pastries, sandwiches and the bed gelato in town. Relaxed atmosphere and great service.

Cool locally owned spot with great coffee (and unique coffee drinks) as well as great food options. They also do their own roasting!

This is my absolute favorite Cafe in Evanston.

Got here early and was able to try the apple galette warm out of the oven. It was sublime. As good as any I’ve had in Paris.

Amazing pastries and excellent kombucha! I definitely recommended the to-go burritos. The staff are all wonderful.
