I love this place. Their creative coffees are the bomb. I can't remember which of the specialties I ordered, but it had ice cream in it and because I asked for it with no caffeine it was basically a chocolate ice cream shake at coffee prices. Like, I dunno if you'll ever find a delicious shake anywhere else for like $4. I stop by whenever I'm in the area.

Helpful and knowledgeable baristas 👍🏼
Delicious drinks ☕
On the weekends, the best time to visit is after 12pm.
I highly recommend this cafe for people in the Hyde Park neighborhood. 👌🏼

Very nice quaint Black owned business. I'm vegan so we're minus a star because they don't offer vegan pastries, donuts, cakes etc at this time. They do have non dairy creamer. I'll keep asking about the vegan eats until I wear them down😂

Sip and Savor (53rd) is a beautiful community coffee spot. They have a fantastic selection of espresso and fair trade coffees. While I wish they had more iced teas (you just don't always want a coffee or espresso), their menu is extensive. If you are in the mood for an excellent handcrafted espresso, Sip and Savor is one place you need to get to.

Ordered a drip coffee, watched the barista realize there was only one-half cup left. She went to ask the manager what to do, came back, and filled up the remainder of the cup with hot water. Served me my coffee with water without looking me in the eye or saying a word. No reason to return with that kind of customer service.

The taxes were suspiciously too high. A frappe for $5.39 turned into $6.66. Seriously? A $1 on the taxes at best but a whole $1.27 charge?

In retail and business, this number is often taboo and this seems very purposeful to make customer add on more to offset the cost. Prerogative of the owner, but still.

Make the sale. There were plenty ways to get an extra $2-4 bucks out of me, but this wasn’t it.

Even if the taxes weren’t an issue, the frappe was god awful sweet. I won’t be back.

Great coffee and even better customer service! They're the best! Lots of tasty options! Very clean modern comfortable environment. WiFi available. Also there's a printer for use by the public for pay! Awesome!

I have amended my review. I decided to go back and give it another chance. The service was so much better. The barista was attentive and very nice. I got a German Chocolate mocha and it was really amazing. I raised this to five stars after my previous 3 star review. I recommend it now.
