Momentum Coffee

I just left out of there and it was super awkward there was one lady in particular who made it seem super intense. Ordering cofeee should never be this intense she was micro managing the entire staff I mean relax lady it’s just coffee this isn’t Starbucks nor will it ever be like relax!!! She was literally standing in the corner correcting everything everyone did made the entire experience awkward for the customers and staff if you want to correct your staff wait until the customer is out of the store it’s super awkward and weird relax it’s usually super fun and the staff are really nice but today I felt awkward and and intense the second I walked in the door please learn how to micromanage and be nice to your staff you can tell they don’t need someone in they’re back about coffee she made the entire experience horrible

Only speaking with regard to the “high speed internet”; it’s not.

Updated review: the owner was very willing to come and discuss the issue in person. Turns out, it is a high speed Internet cafe, you just have to pay $25 to use the high speed internet for the day.

I got an americano and it was pretty good. Customer service was solid, seems like a local neighborhood coffee shop where the baristas eventually learn your name.

I really wanted to like this place, but I was just not a fan. I was just looking for a place to get some work done and a good cup of coffee in the area and hoped that I had found it. However, I ordered an Americano which tasted almost identical to a cup of Folgers. I use Dark Matter coffee for my at-home espresso and know it's not a result of the beans unless they were old. They seem to have a decent setup with a Rocket espresso machine and a decent grinder, so I'm assuming it was maybe user error. Second, the Wifi was SO SLOW. Just loading a simple website took 2-3 minutes. I'm guessing they prioritize wifi for members, but the free option was borderline unusable which is disappointing.
Third, for the purposes of a co-working space, the music was a bit too loud and just not a great choice for getting work done.
The shop itself was cute with plenty of seating, but I would probably not visit again.

I have been getting iced drinks from another local coffee shop, but after trying the iced mocha from momentum, I am happy to say the other shop won't be getting my money anymore. This coffee was soooo much tastier!!!

They got the best Chai Tea Latte in the city highly recommended, very present vibe I will definitely be back.

Coffee and pastries are exceptional and so are the staff. I ran into momentum needing a private space for an interview that started in 10 min and they had everything set up and ready to go in time. They always greet me with a big smile and remember my name when I hop in for a coffee. Wonderful place!

Great neighborhood shop. They make great drinks, have tasty pastries, and the staff is friendly.

It was our first time and i can say in full confidence that this is one of the best coffee shops. When we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and happy faces, they gave us great recommendations and walked us through their menu. When we got the food the muffins/cupcakes were so good (especially the lemon poppyseed) and the coffees were great. I got the latte with vanilla and whole milk was so good and my sister got a chai latte with oat milk and it was my favorite and thing we got. The prices were not that high, we got four drinks and three breads for 30! so to finish this is a place i will go back too.

Delicious coffee and scones. I had an ice Carmel Macchiato, perfectly made with almond milk. Also had a cinnamon crunch scone that was too big to eat in one sitting but I'll tackle the rest in the morning 🙂! Outdoor seating is available. Great chain coffee shop alternative.
