Coffee shop up front with ample indoor/outdoor seating and coworking space in the back. Full service coffee shop with sandwiches, coffee, smoothies, and pastries offered. My review is for the coffee shop in terms of the working environment is one that was not conducive for my creativity. The seats were uncomfortable, the colors in the room were dull, and the music was not to my liking.
Great and friendly staff though!

A simple but pleasant coffee shop. The espresso tasted nice all for under $4. The barista was pleasant for having me and service is quick. Lots of space here to hangout!

Met a college friend here for breakfast. This place was chosen by because the owners graduated from our alma mater. It's always great to support FAMUly. This is a cute coffee shop in a great location. My friend and I didn't have much time to spare so I wasn't able to relish in the outside atmosphere or the beauty of this set up. I'm not a coffee drinker but was happy with my Chai tea. And I was pleasantly surprised and delighted that they offered alternatives, such as almond milk. I picked up the cranberry muffin and it was okay. The next time I am in Chicago, I'll be sure stop by again 🧡💚

I happen to be in Chicago for the Tastemakers Conference for food bloggers from all over the world. This coffee shop was mentioned and I knew I had to make a plan to visit. Well I am so glad I did. I walked in and the atmosphere was incredible. The staff was friendly and here is the best part.
When I arrived and it was my turn to order. As a food blogger I like to let the staff tell me what to try without letting them know what I do and this is what I did. I told her I like sweet iced coffee and she suggested an Iced Caramel Apple 🍎 Butter Latte with whipped cream and it was fantastic on a scale of 1-10 I give this coffee shop a 12!

This is my first visit to Chicago and of course I want to check out local coffee spots. Momentum Coffee was my first spot I visited and it was solid.
First of all the location is great but upon entering the coffee shop I did not feel this would be a great place to do work. I think music would be a nice touch to make it feel more upbeat and welcoming. The baristas were good, they seem very occupied and I wasn’t going to strike a conversation which I usually do.
I ordered cappuccino and a croissant. Coffee was pretty good and so was croissant. I love the logo but I wish they had ceramic dine in cup.
Would I come back for a cup of joe again? Absolutely! But I would most take it to go and would not necessarily make it my creative work coffee spot.

Food was kinda expensive ($41 for 3 coffees & 2 sandwiches) and the self-checkout kiosk was confusing. It didn't seem too busy but the staff seem to struggle. I waited over 20 minutes for my order to be finished. Staff was kind, just disorganized.
The iPad area near the toasters looks crazy and a potential fire hazard with the electrical cords, toaster, and panini press.
The thermostat food probe should be ALWAYS sanitized before and after use. The staff took it out of the mug that had miscellaneous items, used it, and placed it back in the mug. PLEASE SANITIZED BEFORE/AFTER USE.
My only suggestions would be to focus on only coffee. The breakfast foods are rip-off for they are cheaply made and don't taste good. The coffee was delicious, though.

Employees were nice and they drew a bird on my to-go bag. I wish they put the same effort into my sandwich tho. I have no clue how this place has a 4.6 star rating

We have never been there in person, but we regularly order the Almond croissants, Chai latte, and chicken sausage sandwiches on Uber eats. Let me tell you, if you like Almond croissants, hell, even if you don't like almond croissants, you gotta give these a try. These are some of the best Almond croissants I have had in my life, only beat by the boulangeries in Paris. The portions are huge, and they are consistently tasty. The chicken sausage sandwiches are also really good. I have heard their coffee is also top tier. I highly recommend the almond croissants with some chai latte. You can thank me later.

Poor management I saw one of them speaking very inappropriate to a worker like she was they child on the floor I never wanted to see a black owned business treating there employees like that then got a little snappy at me like I did something wrong. The place overall need to have air conditioning that just made me not want to sit down an enjoy my items I purchased but maybe that’s why she seem to have an attitude please do better we have to do better because you never know who’s watching. Oh and I will not be returning just do better.

Coffee shop up front with ample indoor/outdoor seating and coworking space in the back. Full service coffee shop with sandwiches, coffee, smoothies, and pastries offered. My review is for the coffee shop. In terms of the working environment it was very good because it's a professional-looking working environment and not an art museum. The seats were comfortable, the colors in the room were professional (again, because it's not a theme park), and the music was what you would find anywhere.
Great and friendly staff!
