Officially one of my new favorite coffee houses in the city. Got the cajeta latte and (not pictured) La Zarza crepes (blackberry and cream cheese) which were legitimately some of the best I’ve ever had. The inside is so charming, and after reading about La Malinche really appreciate the historical reference too.

So glad this is right on my commute when I’m working down south. Will definitely be back!

Lovely neighborhood coffee shop. They allow me to bring the dog inside which is great on the walks and the cold weather. Wish more coffee shops in Pilsen would allow that.
Great coffee and sandwiches as well.

I get lunch here all the time. Great sandwiches, nice owners, and timely service. One of a few good healthy options in the neighborhood.

The drinks are a little pricey but it's a very cozy place to have a breakfast sandwich and some coffee.

YES. I like it here and would recommend. The drinks are a must. Cubano was very good! Pork was super tender. It would be excellent if it was served warmer, enough to melt the cheese.

Just passing through the neighbourhood, but loved the atmosphere, coffee is great and had the biggest cup of Capuccino in whole Chicagoland loved it. Definetely recommend the place and would come again.

If I could give LaMalinche 10 starts I would! The crepes are the best I've had anywhere in the city, the service is excellent, the staff and owners are very friendly. They understand real customer service and value your feedback. The ambiance is perfect, and LaMalinche offers a unique cafe experience which is difficult to find on the south side at a very affordable price. Anyone who is giving less than 5 stars must be a competitor! This is the only cafe on the south side where my husband enjoys his expresso the way he is used to drink it and he is from Eastern Europe. Vale le pena en llegar aquí!

The acai bowl I ordered was not cold enough, nor was the mixture thick enough. Dirty abuelita drink is amazing!
