Great coffee selection with the finest materials (never felt such a nice coffee sleeve, and organic cane sugar packets). Been buying coffee everyday from variety of independent coffee shops this summer, building up a palate, and the standard dark roast drip coffee here is simple yet features a lot of sophisticated tasting notes (nutty, earthy, vanilla, even a note of miso/slight umami).

In my opinion they make the best cappuccino in Chicago, I don't even have to put sugar in mine. Also, everyone who works there is incredibly pleasant. It is a joy to come to this coffee shop.

One of my favorite local coffee shops has great energy and feel when your enjoying coffee with someone. Dark Matter coffee is so good and they do a fantastic job of creating original coffee drinks!

Got the Mayan Mocha and it was good! Excited to go back and try other drinks- the art of course is very cool and definitely worth a visit.

Incredibly good coffee, quick and kind staff, creative and quirky atmosphere, what more could you ask for in a coffee shop?

This a great spot to stop in and get a cup of coffee and study/work (they even have a printer!). The staff are always charming, and the dark matter coffee is always tasty. Interior has neat artwork and the patio in back is great on a sunny day.

Make sure you ask to start a punch card because you'll probably be coming back often. Can't recommend Osmium enough

Love the coffee here! Wear a MASK. Saw a review on here saying that they tried picking up an order with their sweatshirt above their mouth as a “mask”. I’m glad the business called them out on it. Makes me feel SAFE & want to come back knowing they enforce PROPER mask wear. Halfway through a pandemic you should just know better. Anyways, the staff is great!

A different fun twist on a coffee shop. Enjoyed a breakfast sandwich and iced drink that were both very decent. Staff was friendly and attentive

Cool spot with good coffee and down to earth city life atmosphere. You must cut and toast your own bagel.
