Truth B. Told

Wish the "macchiato" was more than just an espresso with ice, a liturgies bitter for my taste, but it has a neighborhood feel inside. Nice seating outside alone storefront.

Great cappuccino. Guy at the register was a bit snippy and he could have been friendlier. They have great donuts and muffins. Their coffee has a great flavor and I enjoy the extremely diverse clientele here.

We just stopped in for a cup of coffee and snack for our drive back to home (we are not from Chicago). We missed the morning rush, but the staff at the counter still seemed a bit impatient when I couldn't decide between a latte or a drip coffee. The coffee was good- I also got a blueberry muffin which was nice & fluffy. Parking was fairly easy to find. I would go back to grab a coffee & hang there if I found myself in Chicago again.

Good experience. Friendly colleagues. Good and tasty are the sandwiches! They offer free WiFi, and they have various charging ports to do laptop work! This position will never be fooled.

Hours aren’t accurate in google. They close at 7p.

This location is huge, and somehow always packed because the drinks, treats, and service are so good. It’s fun to explore the seating areas- it’s clearly a converted office space and it adds character that they haven’t just bulldozed the whole thing into a wide open space. The one thing I’ll say is the chairs are super uncomfortable at this Bridgeport, I couldn’t work here for more than an hour just because of that. But that’s a minor complaint!

This place used to be awesome but they’re in danger of falling off. Need people that understand coffee (or at least train them) and have some more professional customer service. I think a little training will go a long way.

Excellent breakfast sandwiches, coffee, tea and baked goods. Friendly staff. They have a few seats in the main room, and a separate room with a few tables for dining in, as well as more tables on the sidewalk or front.

Been here for 10 years.... I really like this place. That's why I give 5 stars. However, I do have some complaints, because the coffee taste different as their baristas change too quickly and too often. New barista don't always make me a good coffee. Sometimes I waste my $5bucks because I throw my coffee in the garbage can. I hope I am able to request the experience barista to make my coffee. I know that might be meant... I am a bit confuse now. :(

These guys really know their coffee! They roast their beans, about, two miles away on Ashland and will be happy to educate you if you have any questions about their different roasts. I love to come here to work/write, and just relax for the day with their great coffee & tea selection. Their food is not bad, either, but their baked goods are from Bridgeport Bakery...FANTASTIC!

Also, I'm fairly certain they were rated the top coffee house in Chicago.
