The coffee bean selections are great for their taste, smell, and flavor. The roasts are as advertised. The "medium body" roast tastes like medium body roast. Even better that they sell Fair Trade, Organic bean variety that also supports The Wetlands Initiative. Pleasant, friendly staff. Sunny corner spot. They repurpose their air conditioner's condensation to drip strategically into the potted plant by the door when it's not winter. Cleverly resourceful way to reduce/reuse.

I made the trip from the burbs just to get some whole bean coffee, have an espresso, and a sandwich. Their Hardscrabble Espresso is fantastic. They were not busy. I found the service to be very inattentive to the point of being rude. Very much different from my prior experiences. I might go back if I am in the neighborhood but will not make the special trip.

HAPPY Staff! Dark Drip. 🤯
Trek for venue! 😁 Bridgeport Coffee is reliably good with Standard Menu so, no need to talk about it. Nothing to brag about Desserts. Decent food for $6.50!
FREE WiFi! Outlets. Plenty of seating. Comfy.

My favorite coffee shop in the city, and it's not even really that close. It has a great small coffee shop vibe and it's great to hang out at all day. It's open til 9, which is pretty late for a Chicago coffee shop. The food is solid and it's next to some great restaurants. Across from a great bar. Can't really get much more out of a coffee shop. If only it was closer to me.

Hit or miss on coffee for me. I like to get lattes when I go to coffeeshops, and it's the inconsistent quality of both the taste, strength, and temperature that gives this place a below-average rating from me.

I have been going to this place for years and it is still one of my favorite places to go. It's the cutest and only continues to improve. It could get crowded sometimes but if you find it quiet, you will not want to leave.

Love this place. Feels like home when I walk in. Coffee and espresso is always piping hot and delicious. Breakfast sandwiches are yummy too! Most of the staff don't show too much emotion which is kinda nice for the mornings...lol

My favorite coffee shop in the city. So many places to sit and get work done. The best seats are in the front by the windows. I also like their weird, tiny bathroom in the back--the ceiling is very tall and for some reason freaks me out and makes me feel like I've traveled back in time. Anyone agree? Eh? Eh?

The staff here has entirely changed since COVID shut them down a few months ago. The new people are all doing a tremendous job. This is my favorite neighborhood cafe and I’m looking forward to being able to study and hang out here again in 2021, provided our city can get this pandemic under control

Breakfast sandwich, iced Americano, and a donut to go please. Great friendly staff who know how to get it done. They’ll get you everything you need to start your day. Try the chicken salad... so good.
