This place is a little too emo for me. The place has an old schoolhouse vibe, the employees are awkward with little to no social skills (except for the Mexican girl doing all the work in English and in Spanish).
HOWEVER, this place is perfect for working solo. With all the emo around, no one will EVER bother you (insecurities would never allow it).
The coffee is great, and the bagel I had was ah-ight (they were stingy on the cream cheese, but I'm on a diet anyway, so whatever). If with the wifi were stronger, I would have stayed longer. It might stronger if I hadn't sat at the farthest corner of the cafe, because - PLOT TWIST - I'm too emo.

The staff was very polite and made us tasty dairy free iced chai lattes. They have ample outdoor seating and a few indoor options (due to COVID, I’m sure), but it still works! They also offer plenty of food options and most importantly- they are dog friendly!
I also was delighted when I saw photos of the farm they work with for their beans and really appreciated seeing that they do work directly with a small farm in El Salvador. I love a good coffee shop that I can get work done at while supporting local and having my dog with me. Will definitely be back!

Best coffee around, best coffee shop around, best donuts around. Nice cozy atmosphere up front with cool bench style seating along the window that is complimented with a quiet area in back decorated with cool maps; perfect for getting work done. If you want a donut, you better get there early though, they usually run out.

I go here all the time. Excellent place for coffee or tea. Good selection of sweets. It's often a little too warm inside, but the outdoor seating is great in season. Front room is a good social space, back room seems to be more for quiet and study.

Good friendly service. Tasty coffee. And an out of this world Oreo dream bar. What's not to love in this local coffee shop?!

Very good coffee in a warm, comfortable setting. Polite service, but it can get less attentive when there's a line.
The people that settled and built this Chicago neighborhood would scratch their heads at the cost of fancy coffee these days. But everything changes and this helps keep the area vibrant.

The coffee and food are great here, much better than any of the chain coffee shops. The staff is attentive and always so nice and they truly make it the best experience possible every time I go. I make sure to stop here every time I'm in the area.

It was a real pleasure to visit this coffee shop. With their help, I relax and feel relaxed. In picking this coffee shop to hang out I was not mistaken. It was so hard to find such a professional place for my taste. I am profoundly impressed by how they treated their client well without any complications at all.

Neighborhood coffee shop. Great breakfast sandwich. Plenty of seating. Outdoor seating is great when the weather is. Wish they had a cayenne mocha. Street parking. Plenty of free spots in front on 31st if you get lucky. Other than that, I like the vibe here.
