Sadly bookstores are not as plentiful as they were, but our trip to B&N was very good. I found a few good buys in the sale area and some nice items for gifts. Carbondale is lucky to have a full-service book store such as this. The employees were very friendly and happy to help with questions, too.

A wonderful little book store! Truly one of Carbondale’s best. The staff are so friendly and are always willing to help. It’s a great place to grab a new book and settle down in the café with a cozy drink. My absolute favorite spot.

Pro-Tip: Ask the booksellers what their top recommendations are – they’ve never wronged me yet! Almost everyone there has introduced me to so many new and exciting reads.

This is one of the most accommodating, clean, organized and helpful stores that I have ever shopped in. The store manager and all of the employees are amazing. I will say it is always disheartening to see other customers verbally abusing such a kind and caring staff.

The staff are always super helpful and if they don't have whatever I'm looking for they just order it and ship it straight to my home. The store is always well kept with strategically placed displays to help you find everything and every book you never knew you needed. I love this location and usually find stuff here I can't find anywhere else!

LOVE this place! They have books and gifts, lots of interesting things to look at. They also have a snack bar that I haven't tried yet. I had no trouble finding help to locate what I needed.

Barnes and Noble of Carbondale Illinois is a wonderful place to go to find anything that you need. You can find books to enhance your learning experience, books to take your mind to fantastic destinations, dreams, and new realities. Books! Magazines! Childrens books at all reading levels. Reading events for children. They have crafts, journals, Lego sets, pen sets, many other items. Starbucks inside so you can enjoy coffee and read. Barnes and Noble is a peaceful place to shop and a good place to find what you are searching for.

I love love love the selections and varieties of literature. Prices are higher but the quality is worth every penny. The staff is always helpful a pleasant. I've yet to patronize the coffee shop within but I am sure I will.

They sell books what is not to like. Feed your mind.
