The way a health store should be. Recognized brands, fresh food, good prices, friendly staff with a coffee/smoothie bar to treat yourself when your done shopping!

Always has a great selection of everything, plus makes its own soups, salads and sides daily. There is also bread and rolls made from scratch, and tasty pastries. They have a great selection of wines and beers as well.

In other words they have everything the health store normally has, with the addition of organic meats and in-house made sausages. Lots of bulk product and fresh veggies and fruit too.

They also have fun gifts and useful items such as chopsticks and thermal water containers etc.

You may have to hunt through regarding prices, sometimes they are extra $ on their items. However, everything is always fresh and freshly stocked, and their staff is knowledgeable and helpful about the product (large selection of vitamins, herbal products etc). So, the trade-off feels worth it? As everything is in one spot vs hunt and peck in different supermarkets.

Just discovered this gem and wished we had known sooner, vacationing this week in Sandpoint, we’re super healthy eaters and not many options in town. We stopped in for a snack and were pleasantly surprised to find fresh hot food and salad bar! Lots of baked goodies and healthier treat options, we loved everything, super delicious, going back for sure!

I have only been shopping at Winter Ridge for approximately 7.5 years and only allow myself to post great reviews. However this will be my first and hopefully only negative review. I have experienced the same not so pleasant check out experience every time with the same employee, and I leave feeling the negative energy for a few minutes until I reset my own thoughts. I have a feeling I’m not the only one who has the same unpleasant experience with this employee. I’ve tried to figure out if I’m doing something to annoy her, but I hear it in her tone with the customer she starts ringing up as I’m gathering my things to exit the store. I stopped going to Winter Ridge for several months, and I recently started shopping there again, but today as I was unloading my basket the cashier I went to was checking out to do other things and this negative employee stepped in…so I was stuck so to speak. Going forward I will avoid this particular employee until another cashier is available to continue my positive shopping experience.

My husband and are visiting from Washington and was so grateful to find such a great store and also deli. I have been twice already and ordered sandwiches, soup, juice and also bought some bakery items, ALL delicious. I also picked up some supplements. Everything was great and the lady in the supplement section is very attentive and helpful. We have not had good help, greetings or service in Sandpoint during our stay here. So this has been great, thank you.

This store was wonderful! They have a great selection. The staff was incredibly helpful & friendly. I highly recommend visiting this store if you're looking for organic choices.

There were about 4 employees that helped me find what I needed. I forgot my glasses and one young man was doing g my reading for me to make sure I got the right things. Every one smiled. Great experience

My favorite organic store in the region. Salad bar and hot bar are amazing. Baked goods are phenomenal. Great produce section and also a nice assortment of house-smoked meats. The icing on the cake though is their craft beer selection. I can't make it out of the store without spending $50.

The store has 50 percent rude cashier's in the last few weeks.They are also putting really inferior food on the buffet leaving it all day and then bringing out the same food day after day untill it is gone.Same lousy dishes for the entire month.This is in violation of the health department.The sauerkraut and food they make. For the shelves is terribile.Suppliments are greatly overpriced.Arrogantt owner who could not say hello to a customer if he tried.Dirty looking employees in a failing deli.Store is headed for closing.

This is another if our favorite haunts! This is an artisan store, where you can find local everything, even hard to find items! Their produce selection is wonderful, and being organic, they are actually big fruits and veggies, where at other places they're smaller for a higher price. The store will also order something for you if it's not on the shelf, or if it's a new item to add to their shelves! Great place❤️
