A nice coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere. The staff are very nice and friendly. I’d rate the atmosphere and friendly staff a 5-star rating. Although, good coffee is the main point for a coffee shop. I’d only rate 3 stars for the coffee. Personally, I like a creamy cup of latte with a full body coffee in a perfect ready to sip temperature. Unfortunately, they burnt the milk here and the coffee is pretty mild, which could be from the burnt milk. I don’t want to buy a coffee and wait for 20 minutes for it to cool off before I can drink it. That’s just my preference though.

Wow!!! The scrambled eggs were delicious and amazing. Very different than your typical scrambled egg plates. We got south of the border scramble and veggie south of the border scramble. One of the best breakfasts we had. The dark chocolate mocha is very good! Highly recommended.

Always great customer service. Always a pleasant experience. A lot of spiritual people meet here to have real in-depth conversations. The food is always good. Coffee's even better. It's an old school. Feel to it. They don't charge you extra for the creamy put in. You can actually get a side dish of it if you want to have lots of it for coffee or tea. People are very friendly here. Definitely uplifts your spirits

We were on our way through and a bit of divine Providence brought us to this oasis for a bit of respite. We only had time for a potty break & to grab lunch to go but we enjoyed the vibe of the place while we waited on our lunch order. The Bibles on the tables along with verses and the prayer wall made us feel right at home. We added our prayers and talked with our kids about what “seeds to be sewn” means to. Christian. The lunch and coffee were delicious and we were blessed by our stop. Will definitely come back next time we are in Sandpoint! 🙏🏻❤️☕️

Yummy coffee and cozy environment and friendly staff. What more can you ask for from a coffee shop.

Great atmosphere coffee shop. The scones were delicious. It was my first time back in Sandpoint since 1984 and let me tell you, everything has changed. Still a nice town though, just a lot busier than I remember.

Kokanee is a fabulous resource for two reasons: their amazing staff and their wonderful coffee. I'm a raving fan of both their brewed / drip options. My wife loves more elaborate options, often choosing a special. We're never disappointed. I've purchased and gifted whole beans (since they are a micro-roaster) and those have always been gotten rave reviews. But what make Kokanee "over the top" is the amazing staff. After a mere handful of visits they learned my name and my typical order. It's always delivered with a genuine smile and word of appreciation. So Kokanee is a rarity -- a local business that's thriving by delivering what every merchant should strive for: consistent excellence. To Kelly and team: cheering for you!

The BEST coffee in Sandpoint. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Every time I've gone in there are people sitting, chatting and enjoying the coffee, it creates a great atmosphere. Aside from individual preferences I think this coffee is much better than Evan's brothers (no disrespect intended).

I absolutely love this coffee shop. For one, it is so nice to have the beautiful messages about God. The decor is so cute. Very unique. I kept taking pictures just so I can remember the beauty of the atmosphere. The customer service is hands down 5 stars.

Let's talk about the coffee. I enjoyed the cappuccino. I preferred black coffee. You can taste more of the local roast and enjoy the flavors more.

Next Food! My son got the croissant with ham and egg. It was delicious. The croissant was perfect. Love the flakiness. My husband got the breakfast burrito and it was mighty tasty. The sausage was really good. I got the egg scramble with sausage light cheese. It was really good and healthy. I like the salsa. The best was the pull apart muffin. Oh my goodness. My son and I were fighting for the last bite. Lol. It was the best. I would recommend saving room for it to share.

We will be back. Thank you for our welcome meal. First in Sandpoint, ID.

It's sad to see anyone posting a negative review just because they feel masks should be forced on everyone. They have a choice, go somewhere else. Kokanee does a good job of trying to protect its patrons through other methods.
With that said, my wife, son (10) and I are visiting from atlanta. We always try new local breakfast shops and this was a gem. Kelly (owner) is a DOLL. She was warm hearted and super friendly. The staff cooks all the food fresh every day and it's delicious.
My son ordered a croissant with ham and egg. He's our harshest critic and he loved it. My wife went with scrambled eggs loaded with veggies...another good choice. I personally feel I came out the winner with the breakfast burrito and homemade salsa...sooo yummy.
Lastly, we finished it all with a pastry, the "pull apart". Covered in cinnamon and butter, this was a piece of heaven.
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the coffee. After all, that's why we came :-)
My wife and I each enjoyed a cup of coffee and a cappuccino each. Home roasted beans, kokanee is a light tasting, very nice brew. The cappuccino was flavorful and enjoyable. We will definitely be back.
