River City Coffee and Cafe

River City was ok overall. The service was good, the food was subpar but by airport standards probably above average. The line moved very slow so if you're passing by and don't have much time before your flight you're probably going to have to skip this place.

Hands down worst airport sandwich I’ve ever had

Coffee was acceptable but the bacon breakfast burrito was terrible. Bland and mushy with uncooked white things that appeared to be hash browns.

Great artwork referencing the area, I especially love the one telling you the correct way to pronounce Boise. Customer service was pretty good. The lady didn't even know where the main location exists, which you would think you would want out-of-towners to know about. The coffee is pretty good and the food looked like it would taste good.

Good food, but the line layout is frustrating. They now have a touch screen for ordering in addition to the cashier. Problem is the line setup is prohibitive to using the touch screen. Then you get your coffee cup and have to walk around the line (when busy your having to get around a lot of people) to get to the coffee and then back to the restaurant side. It was annoying enough to question my departure from my normal Einstein stop.

Not a fast or friendly place at the Boise airport. Asked for a no foam, soy vanilla latte. When they got it half of the cup was foam. I asked for them to remove some foam and she said she did the best she could but she would try to remove more. Half a cup of foam later. She handed me the cup. I had to ask her for more soy to fill the rest of the cup. She was put out by it because she had to heat more milk. If I wanted a small, I would have paid for a small or....capaccino with all that foam.

Ordered a blended latte with coconut milk and vanilla. it tasted terrible it had absolutely nothing sweet in it, there must have been almost no vanilla in it couldn't have been more than a table spoon, and cost $6.35 for 20oz of no flavor beyond a bitter cold coffee

Horrible service. Two people at register and one very slow person at the espresso machine. Suggestion to switch from one at register and two making coffee when it’s busy. Got my latte and it was luke warm (after waiting over 15 minutes). Had to leave without my coffee as I was being paged by the airlines.

Apparently they only train one person to make food and coffee. Was told it would be a 5 minute wait for my coffee, 20 minutes later my flight is boarding and I had to leave the coffee I paid $5 for because the person making it skipped mine for the person behind me. Don’t waste your time or money.

Coffee is good, breakfast burrito is not. Tastes like a 2 day old microwaved soggy mess.
