Great coffee, friendly service, even the breakfast burrito wrap was super solid. The porch is as great a place as any to sit and enjoy Waimea. Waimea is a fantastic home base for a trip to the big island and the magical wind and rolling hills will surely captivate you!

The best chai OF MY LIFE. Such a cute little place, highly recommend spotting in for any of your caffeine (or herbal tea) needs. Very friendly cashier and good drink recommendations.

Ordered breakfast and pour over coffee to go. Food items are great and I would give a 5 star base on food. The potato salad is probably the best I’ve ever had!
However, the pour over coffee was such a disappointment. If they did not use burned beans, the barista did not brew my coffee correctly. It was way over extracted. I can’t stop wondering if they used espresso grounds for pour over.
I was hoping to taste the local beans but the bitterness overpowered and made the coffee undrinkable.
Usually I order pour over only if a shop seems to have confidence in its beans, otherwise cold brew is probably the safest choice.
Please please treat pour overs seriously, it is the best brewing method for good beans if done correctly. It’s much more than a mere cup of caffeinated liquid.

Tried their Acai bowl , it was mediocre for the price.. but they didn't even use fresh blueberries..it was some premade pie filling.. for that price and in a tropical island, I wasn't expecting that!!! For a toasted bagel, I waited for 30 mins.. I wouldn't stop here for local food, could have rather had in the near by starbucks.
