Island Vintage Coffee

No idea why the rating is 3.9.
The place is great, coffee very nice, acai bowls are amazing, especially haupia one.
Went to a number of other acai places that were highly recommended on the web, 4.5+ on Google maps - was worse than the ones in Island Vintage coffee.

Honestly I wasn't expecting much from the coffee, I just thought it would be a cute shop and a nice place to study. I was completely wrong though. I got the best coffee I think I have ever had! I can't remember the name, but it had honey in it. It was amazing! Totally worth the price, and I'll absolutely keep going.

Went to the Whalers Village location 3 days in a row in Maui and it was fantastic. This location in, however, was the total opposite. Totally disorganized staff and as several reviews have noted downright hostile customer service and attitude from at least one staff member who seemed to be the team lead/manager today. I can be patient and give grace with incorrect orders and missing items but being treated like a 2nd class citizen as a customer isn’t ok.

One of the best acai bowls i ever tried.

Only thing to note is that their service is bit slow because they make it from the scratch. But it is worth the wait or just order ahead of time

The maple bacon cheese croissant was really good, the bagel and cream cheese was just fine, our drinks were ok, the açaí bowls were very yummy and not too sweet. Would return for açaí

Coffee: 5/5, thought the Island latte was amazing!

Wait time: -1/5, crazy how it will take 45min-1 hr with 8 people in line. If you want to get in and out, don’t come between 7am-10am, it will take longer than you’d like.

Açaí bowl: -1/5, worst açaí bowl I’ve ever had, awful.

Had the Island latte (macadamia nut + coconut), really good. Nice and clean, very modern. Took a bit longer to receive the drink order compared to what I’m used to though…island time :-).

Not the biggest fan of this location, unfortunately it’s the only one on the island. They don’t have the biggest menu and they don’t take cash. The staff are all friendly though and what they do have is good, I just wish it was more like the other locations with the food/drink options.

The coffee is amazing, it's worth the wait for the slow service. If you are expecting the Starbucks grind them out ordering and serving experience this is not the place for you. If you want amazing coffee and are willing to set aside expectations give them a try!

Their coffees and acai bowls are soooo good! Wish we came here at the beginning of our trip instead of the last day. We came around 830 and there was a line out the door. It's that popular.
