Lappert's Hawaii

Sadly, a miss.
We used to live this place, always coming here in every visit to the island.
Now the flavor selection is less than a 1/3 of what it used to be.
And what we did have.... was forgettable.
No longer the rich, decadent flavors.
Now all I can taste is sugar.
Expensive grocery store mass produced ice cream.
Skip it.

Came here almost everyday during my stay. Had mint chocolate chip and chocolate flavoured ice cream with different waffle cones each time. All great. And the cookies were delicious. Had to go back again for seconds.

Had the chocolate hazelnut cone with a scoop of roasted hazelnut sea salt ice cream.
Texture of the waffle was a little sticky and the ice cream was okay, but not worth its 4,75$ / scoop. It’s a nice place though.

The ice cream is very good and so is the sorbet. Variety selection. Delightful bake treats. We tried the chocolate chip cookies and the cinnamon roll (not pictured this time) Good sweet spot

Masti is waiting for his turn at 8:55 PM for his vanilla ice cream and I am waiting for macadamia! No matter what time you come you are never #1 in queue. The best ice cream on island! If you are in Poipu that’s the place a must to get your ice cream from!

Went on May 11th around 5pm and met with several disrespectful and rude teenage girls working at the shop. Moody and unpleasant. Shouldn’t be working there if not content, can upset customers on vacation

We came here more than once that is for sure. Great ice cream. And you a stronger than me if you can walk by without stopping to smell the fresh made waffle cones. Great selection of ice cream that changes daily. Two thumbs up👍👍

The presentation was beautiful, but I was confused why they would put a two scoop ice cream sundae in a cup instead of a bowl? My husband and I got it to share, and that made it difficult especially since we got one scoop of his favorite ice cream and one of mine. The ice cream flavors looked delicious, but the taste of the ice cream base wasn't my favorite. That could be personal preference, though. Altogether, not bad for $10 in Hawaii.

I used to see the ads for this place in magazines when I was a keiki. I didn't get a chance to try it out until several decades later. Totally lived up to the hype! Great ice cream and service! Can't wait to go again
