If there is a line you better wait in that line. BEYOND worth it. We ordered the Kalua Pork Fried Rice and the Surfer Bowl with the works. Some of the best food we have enjoyed in Kauai thus far. The hibiscus tea and iced coffee was also very delicious. Would recommend this place ten times over. Everyone working is also very friendly and a great environment.

I visited this place after reading the reviews and it didn't disappoint! Got the Hang Ten and it was fantastic. Fresh, hot and full of flavor! Highly recommend!

Best cafe in the area, probably all of Kuai'i.
Loved both the Surfer Bowl (savory) and the Riptide (sweet). Quick service and refills on coffee.

One of the many places I visited that I could not pronounce but tried very hard to, the coffee and sandwich were as exceptionally delicious as my grasp of the Hawaiian language is terribly remedial. As I continue to try and increase my mental capacity (in vain) my mind goes back to this little spot from a couple weeks ago and I wonder how that one chicken outside the store is doing now.

Great service, and an awesome selection of breakfast classics with a Hawaiian twist. I got the Riptide—basically eggs Benedict with kalua pork. Highly recommended! The pork saltiness is a great pairing with eggs and Hollandaise. I went in July 2021 and it was to-go only with self-seating outside of you wish.

Decent take away, but I’m hoping it’s much better during non-covid times. I’ll say the food was okay, but the counter service folks were nice. The eggs were just okay, but the best part of our two meals was the French toast with the coconut topping. Although, just getting one piece was disappointing. Also the coffee cups are not compostable.

There were three women running this entire operation, and they absolutely rocked it. Big kudos to the staff. The line was out the door, but they consistently got everyone's order out within 10 minutes, probably closer to 5. Food was really good. I had the lemon/berry french toast and would recommend it. This is a counter service style restaurant with a little bit of seating outside, so don't plan to "dine in."

Maybe we didn’t order the right food because it was just ok. Of all the places we ate at during our trip this was one of the least impressive. The eggs were very oily (see the photos). The french toast tasted ok but something about the ratio between bread and stuff on top seemed off. The fried rice was tasty but it did seem a little over cooked. Staff was friendly.

Delicious breakfast/brunch and lunch options. Great option for families. Blend of American and Hawaiian/Asian cuisine, including waffles to fried rice. My girls shared and gobbled up their Kalua fried rice. My Hang 10 was quite tasty, and they accommodated my request with no hollandaise sauce. My husband had the avosandoe. The hibiscus and lilikoi iced teas were refreshing, and you can get refills. Coffee options, too.

There are a couple of 4 seaters and 2 seaters outside the cafe and 1 large picnic table with benches. Friendly service, too. Prices are on par with other restaurants on the island.

Great place to eat! So much less expensive than the hotels and it’s a local owned small restaurant. It’s small, seating is limited, but don’t let that fool you. Fair pricing for the island. The wife and I loved the brief 5 minute walk to get there to see nature thriving. Do yourself a favor and eat here. 4 out of 5 for a very small language barrier. ( Possibly my fault, I’m partially deaf in one ear). Go eat here!!!
