Lava Java Coffee Roasters of Maui

We were fortunate enough to have an airbnb close to this cafe during our vacation in maui. My husband loves coffee, so we made a point to visit every day and try something new. Everything was delicious, the customer service was great, and they opened early enough to accommodate our adjusting sleep schedules. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to experience a fun cup of coffee in Maui

We are from Seattle and the coffee here is legit and the baristas are super nice! We came here multiple times on our trip just for our morning coffee. Pastry selection could be better.

Located in the Kalama Plaza. Facing South Kihei road. The ball park is directly across the street. It's easy to see signage on tje main street. Indoor / Outdoor seating.

We tried the frozen mocha and loved it so much we bought it immediately. It was delicious and fueled our 3-mile walk down Kihei's beaches. Highly recommend stopping in and trying their signature drink. The host is very friendly and shared a number of fun snippets about growing coffee in the island. Stop by, and you won't be disappointed.

Get the frozen mocha. It's the most ordered l drink here by far, but for good reason - perfectly balanced with a bit of cream and sugar and loaded with roasty chocolate flavors, this may be the very best coffee slushie I've ever had. Any lines move quick because the staff is on top of their game and they know the island well, so be sure to take any recommendations they may make! This place is a reason to return to Maui all by itself!!

Small joint near a couple of other shopping areas. Good variety to their menu without being overwhelming. I had the peaberry coffee which is one of the smoothest I've had. Staff was very friendly and attentive despite the longer lines.
