Lava Java Coffee Roasters of Maui

If you are looking for good coffee in Maui this is where you go. I visited a few other shops here and nothing compared. The staff was great and very knowledgeable about their products. Lane was working when I was there and he was a great host. The bakery items were much better then you would expect from anywhere then a dedicated bakery. Only consideration is not a lot of seating if you are planning to come and work remotely but plenty of seating in the surrounding plaza.

Lava Java is a cute little coffee shop with great frozen mochas. The staff was friendly and the service was quick!

Mocha icy is really good! My daughter had the chai latte and did it was more spicy than others. Cool looking shop.

I always try to hit them once while we're on island. I have had great coffee there before. It is just ok coffee.

We were visiting Maui for 5 days from DC and stumbled upon this coffee shop once we decided to not wait in line for Kihei cafe across from it. This place is amazing - from their hot vanilla lattes to their iced coffees, everything is flavorful and some of the best coffee we have ever had. We felt so lucky to have found this place, we ended up going every day! The staff is really friendly and even the baked goods (banana bread) are fantastic. Even if there is a line it moves fast so hang tight and you won’t be disappointed!!!

Peaberry espresso was sweet and rich, like Hawaiian chocolate in a cup. Latte was meh. Great vintage art postcard selection!

I picked up an iced latte here and jt was the best coffee I had on the island.

They have white chocolate powder! Good drink, nice broista.
