Good coffee, employees are are awesome, they have a good selection of local coffee beans, locally made jewelry and artwork. Well worth checking out.

I am a classic coffee drinker where a house drip defines the quality of the beans roasted. Lava Java makes one fine cup of jo! I refuse to buy burnt coffee from mass production Seattle based company and love the local flavor. Lava Java is my morning go to place for fantastic coffee. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome! The coffee is so good and the baristas are so friendly. They make an art of making drinks and create a welcoming space.

Best coffee in Hawaii my host and Hawaiian resident says! I don't recommend it before a massage as it interferes with relaxation. Lol. Always stop in when visiting Maui!

I finished my frozen mocha so fast I forgot to take a picture. Simply amazing and kept me cool as I walked to my breakfast place.

Wonderful location and charming shop. Friendly staff. Coffee was ordinary and attention to detail was low. Bought a bag of Red Catuai beans. Unfortunately, the roast consistency was really bad, light-medium-dark all mixed in together.

Pleasant atmosphere but the coffee was terrible. It tasted and looked like it was out of a vending machine and the milk of my cappuccino was boiling hot which is not how you do a cappuccino. It also smelled weird as if it were overheated.

Went here a few times and stuck with the americano. Their espresso was good most of the time, however one time it was slightly burned, giving the 3 star review.

Warm welcome. Great coffee. Guitars in tune. Both right and left 6 string and a 12 string.
