Java Café

First I want to say the people here are great. And the location is prime. But the coffee, man, it just wasn’t for me. I like a good bold roast. Deep and dark and full-bodied. I ordered a redeye (coffee + 2 shots) and it just tasted like a bright Light Roast. I get it, a lot of people dig that. Especially these days. If you do then you’ll love this place. I don’t. I guess that’s on me. But the people are great.

Price was alot and the wait was pretty long although the place was almost empty. The coffee and food was normal, however do not eat the pastries unless you want to spend your trip sick like I did. Hopefully they read their reviews and stop purposely selling old pasties cause I'm obviously not the first one to point this out.

Great breakfast sandwiches! And a really nice atmosphere. Will be back

I can’t imagine coming back to this place. The wifi doesn’t work, the pastries are expensive and none of the prices are posted. Also, the pastries look a lot better than they actually are, so if you are looking to take a photo of a croissant, they are perfect. If you want one to eat, find somewhere else.
Also, I love fancy stuff but paying $6.25 for a not-flakey croissant and $10 for a banana bread while shoo-ing chickens away in a strip mall parking lot makes it seem like they got the pricing wrong.

Beautiful location. Butttt extremely overpriced. Latte cost $9 and the lady who worked there today has 0 personality and was not even remotely interested to be at work or have customers.

Good selection of local kine coffee and juice options. Why do S-bucks when you can get local brews????

Strip mall location, but nice interior. Some outside seating.

Awesome food and coffee with a great staff.

I had their smoked salmon wrap. It was delicious and I'd recommend the place to everyone. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Cons: the iced latte isn’t good taste. Staff is slow.
Pros: store is big and well decorated. Also sells fresh juices and bakeries. Has WiFi. Good location.

Lovely place for breakfast when you are on Maui Island.. Food is awesome.. Great staff and service as well.. Many vegetarian options.. Their chai latte was really nice.. Capresse sandwich was the highlight..
