Java Café

Ordered brewed coffees, a breakfast sandwich, and a bagel. The food was ok. The coffee tastes like weak gas station brew. The staff seemed annoyed for the most part, and when the breakfast sandwich came out on the wrong type of bagel, they were hesitant to fix it. We won’t be going back.

Smoked salmon bagel sandwich was amazing. Avocado toast was amazing. Overall, very cute modern spot with good American eats and coffee.

Best Coffee in Maui. Amazing food

The coffee is terrific. It has that cocoa-like flavor that I love.

Three out of the four staff we encountered were nice, but the fourth, a young blonde lady, is always grumpy and dour.

Amazing! The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful with food and coffee recommendations. And it was ALL amazing! Not very crowded like some of the other breakfast places and it had good accommodating seating.

I prefer to support independent business when on vacation, and past experiences here have been mixed because the food and drinks are great and the counter staff are less than enthusiastic. But, I was hungry and thirsty and so I gave it another try today. 4 stars out of 5 for the sandwich and beverage. But 2 stars for the staff who continue to be indifferent and bordering on rude.

Prices are SUPER expensive and in my opinion their coffee was very unforgettable. I paid $4.50 for an americano which is nearly double the price it is or other coffee shops.

Maui is by far my favorite island! It’s beautiful and not to touristy like O’ahu! This is my favorite place to go when I’m there. BEST coffee. Amazing pastries and always something new for me to try. Very friendly. 10/10

I lost my wallet inside of the store... I thought it was stolen, not only was the lady at the front desk genuine and helpful but went the extra mile to ask the owners to check the cameras for me

The owner not only checked the camera for me on days they were busy and had meetings but also sent me video footage of myself in the store to show me what exactly happened, AND reached back out a second time to assure me I never actually had my wallet in the store.

From start to finish they went the extra mile and helped me to get my belongings back... I felt the owner really did care about my lost wallet, when he shouldn't have.
