My coworkers and I had morning coffee here. I had Costa Rican black coffee which was just perfect. It's a very cozy place and staff is friendly and nice. I'd love to try their baked sweets next time!

Love the new vegan strawberry muffins! This coffee shop has new owners and everything is vegan. No upcharge for non-dairy milk! Had a wonderful oatmilk vanilla shaken espresso drink.

Edit: went back for the same 20 oz vanilla shaken espresso drink two days later and the female batista handed me a 20 oz cup with 2 inches of drink and when I asked her to add oatmilk so it was 20 oz instead of 8oz she said it already had oatmilk and gave me an attitude and told me I should have ordered a latte. I asked her again to add oatmilk and she did. And said again I ordered the wrong thing. Why would I order 20 oz cup of anything and expect to get 8 oz? If she is the new owner, I guess she's counting on tourists that only come once. Very disappointing after I had such great service on Thursday morning.

This is a hidden gem! Best part were the various vegan options. Being plant based, this was literally heaven for me. I believe this spot is 99.9% vegan, only a couple items have honey in them so you may want to ask about that if you don’t eat honey. I got the caramel macchiato with oat milk and my boyfriend got the mocha latte with oat milk. We also couldn’t pass up their pastries so we got the strawberry lilikoi muffin. So delicious! Wish there were more spots like this in the area but definitely appreciate having this cute coffee shop here as an option. 10/10!!!

Pretty good but not great unfortunately. Nice little store tucked in a corner. Chill vibes. Coffee felt a bit too strong for my personal taste. Both baristas were easy going and great though. They have a small seating area in the back. Place _could be_ a bit tricky to find, it’s right by the aston islander.

We have been on vacation in Kapaa for two weeks. Each morning we got our coffee at IMUA. The coffee is delicious as are the muffins. But what kept us coming back was visiting with Kim and Lele, the baristas. The owner is also a wonderful person.

Conveniently located near several condo complexes, hotels, the Coconut Marketplace, & a 1 block walk to the beach & sunrise. Best spicy chai latte I’ve had on the mainland or on any Hawaiian island. That’s high praise for me since I’ve won an international award for my chai recipe. Their espresso is dry, rich, & lovely. Their cold brew packs a caffeinated punch! The beans are fresh, dark, & complex leaning more toward toasted baked goods than fruity notes, are not burnt & acrid like Whorebucks’ beans. They do not have whipped cream, so BYOWC if you want a con panna. The staff is friendly & moves a bit faster than island speed, but could use further barista training to improve upon the customer experience. I’ve yet to see a non-paper straw in Kauai, so BYO metal straw for iced drink if you prefer a straw. Prices are reasonable.

Visited yesterday with my 2yo daughter and we both really enjoyed the banana bread. The coffee was good too and they made a nice steamed oat milk for my daughter who was delighted to have her own "coffee". the little patio outside is so nice to sit and enjoy a drink.

Loved waking up and having this every morning. Aside from the flavorful coffee with local grown products (have to really mention the pumpkin spice here), the staff were delightful and knew their customers. Also, delicious vegan AND gluten free breakfast sweets available here. Excellent way to start a day.

Public service announcement, they make your drink starting with grinding the beans. It’s not instant because this isn’t Starbucks, you troglodytes. The staff is friendly, the drinks are delicious, and they use clean ingredients. It’s well worth the 10-15 minute wait.
