Spectacular coffee, hidden in a corner of this strip mall behind the larger Coconut Marketplace. Unlike some shops on the island which use local beans exclusively, the beans are selected from around the world, blended and roasted for the perfect espresso drinks. The owner has a maniacal passion in creating the quality true coffee lovers (addicts) crave, and presenting it in the right cup/glass for maximum enjoyment. Out back is a lovely partly shaded lanai, but watch your step stepping down from ordering to picking up your drink!! Not a lot of baked goods or treats.

Very rude & disrespectful staff! We are on the island for 3 days and the first day we got Island market coffee and loved it but thought we would try a local shop to support them so we went to Imua Coffee Roasters. Big mistake! The people were rude and the coffee was so, so. Definitely going to go back to the Island Market for coffee tomorrow since the staff was incredibly friendly and the coffee tastes way better!
RESPONSE TO OWNER:
In my review I never said anything about dark roast coffee, we hate dark roast. But even if that was the case, you would have been putting me down for liking dark roast coffee which is in turn rude.
And instead of apologizing for the rude and disrespectful behavior of your staff, you make excuses?

Best tasting coffee I’ve had in Kaua’i thus far. I had a 16oz latte with oat milk. It was roasted well and came with 2 shots. Good service and they have outdoor seating as well.

Good coffee. Keep in mind everything is vegan so no dairy.

Place went vegan since I last visited but if you’re vegan that’s great for you haha! Love this location and that they open early. Friendly service.

We tried a soy latte and whole milk latte with the pear croissants. Service was great and the coffee was perfect! I wish they had more food selection, but the coffee really was fantastic.
There isn't a ton of seating, and the inside area is pretty small. Don't worry if you see a line outside; there simply isn't space for the line inside.
Would go again.
Edit: the bakery items arrive around 6:45. We went right at opening (6:00), and we were bummed they didn't have anything yet.

Truly my favorite cold brew I've ever had! I order the beans from them wherever I live.

Good coffee, but they’re vegan so they don’t carry regular milk. Had to get my latte with oat milk. This was not a deal breaker for me since I like oat milk. The latte even foamed decent considering oat milk but doesn’t texture the same as dairy milk. I didn’t see other reviews mention this is a vegan coffee shop. I’d like to see them offer Mylk since it’s vegan and offers a closer experience to a traditional latte/cappuccino.

Really amazing coffee, try the Holy Cacao, it's something different and tasty. Very friendly people. Everything is roasted to perfection, but most beans are not grown in HI.

Stopped here before our day filled with hiking! It was right next to our hotel and a great spot with great coffee and great staff
