Berni's on West Main

The food was excellent and had lots of flavor. We loved the food. Only problem we had was with the waitress. She didn’t come back & check on us but like twice. The bread was brought to our table and I broke it in half to share. It was cold on the inside like it was almost still a little froze. Waitress said she bring back some more but never did. Then our food came out & we wasn’t even brought no silverware. Waited & waited on our waitress to come back by and she never did. We had to ask another waitress to bring us silverware & she was sweet & apologized about it. Waitress went to bring my fiancé something else to drink & he said he would get it and she said “No I’ll pour it for you” and he held his glass up and she almost spilled it all on him. The waitress we had did have a huge table to take care of besides us so I don’t know if she was more focused on them because more people bigger check and bigger tip or what but you shouldn’t abandoned your other tables to focus on your one big table because if we get excellent food & service we will tip good. Also what I don’t understand is we waited 30 plus minutes to be seated. Girl claimed there wasn’t no booths open but there was like four open. I don’t know if you can make reservations here maybe that’s why? But then again another group of four walked in way behind us & she took them straight to a booth within 10-15 minutes so I’m not understanding that part. I’m not even sure who our waitress was she never told us her name. Also my fiancé wanted to order the filet mignon & they told him they were out. How can you be a steak & seafood place but be out of a certain steak? Overall the food was good like I said & we would like to come back to try more. Hopefully next time we will get a better waitress & host.

I ate here last Thursday and had the most helpful waitress, Robin. She suggested I try the Kebab, and it was the best thing I've ever tasted. I will definitely be back. This is my new favorite place to eat in Swainsboro.

I had the shrimp and grits they were tasty but much too soupy. The fried green tomatoes were excellent as was my husband's quesadilla. Nice restaurant very friendly.

Finally a classy restaurant with excellent cuisine in our little town of Hooterville. My family always makes a run to Berni's when they come in from out of town. Great place to reunite! Even the French fries are addictive like crack cocaine! By far the best restaurant in Town!!! Tell 'em the Health Inspector sent you!!!

I have had lunch there several times. The food is always great. Staff is great also. Nice place to eat.

Great place to pop in for a drink and meal. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly, courteous staff. Dine indoors or if you prefer, outdoors with live music. Either way, the food and service are excellent.

Worst service ever ordered appetizers came out 1 hr after ordering after the time we sat down bread rows came 15 minute's before appetizers and was told are meal was still not being cooked. Total time spent 1hr 39 minute we had too walk out because it was not going to be a good dinner we will not be back ever losted a good customer and a great tip whenever we go there too eat

I loved this place they have good bands, good food, and all around its just a really good place to go and hangout with friends and family
