Berni's on West Main

In Swainesboro, looking for a place to eat. Found this on Google maps. The shrimp were VERY GOOD! Coleslaw was different from what I've had before but it was very good! My sister got shrimp & catfish (which ended up being catfish nuggets) & they were very good. She also got sweet potato fries & they had cinnamon on them! Once she got over the surprise of the cinnamon, she said they were very good! I would go back there!

One of our favorite restaurants and it just happens to be in my home town. We have never had a bad experience. I ordered the mushroom ravioli the other day and it was honestly the best dish I've ever has!

Found Berni's by accident when visiting family. Best steak ever!! Ate there twice in 2 days and the meals were delicious. Great staff. Super friendly. The head chef even came to visit with us. Left my wallet full of cash and credit cards at the bar. I sent a message on their website and Berni himself met me there the next day even though they were closed. That's above customer service. Definitely put this on your bucket list when near Swainsboro, GA. We have already canceled a trip to St Augustine and will now be going to Berni's for our anniversary in April. See you soon

The stuffed grill salmon with the best I have ever eaten. It was grilled and laid on a bed of spinach with a wonderful tasting sauce prepared by a master chef. A must meal if you love grilled Salmon with stuffed crab. Its a Glory to God moment.

Excellent 👍. It was super good tonight. We shared an appetizer - pimento cheese and it was great. Almost as good as my bride's- LOL. I had the fried oysters (fried perfect) and my bride of 35 yrs had the ribeye sandwich - it was a STEAK and it was cooked perfect. It is not often we have such a great meal as this but it was really great. Thanks guys - 5 stars tonight!!

Everything was excellent tonight as always. I had a stuffed Pork Chop that was big enough for two. And my nephew and his girlfriend had Seafood. Big succulent shrimp and crab cakes packed with crab. Worth the drive. The restaurant has big private booths down each side. With tables down the center. Very nice and reminscent of 30s or 40 s decor.

The shrimp and grits are beyond delicious! The staff was nice and ambiance was wonderful. The drinks were great! Will definitely return!

Best grilled romaine salad ever

This was on the short list of top 5 best steaks I've ever eaten and our waitress was the absolute best. (Hillary) Don't mind paying more if the meal is of the chain and it was. Definitely eating here again. Should have a 10 star option.

We are newbies to Swainsboro, and we’re told about Bernie’s from the natives before anywhere else. We have been there a handful of times now, but it has already become our regular place. The food is phenomenal. I have yet to be disappointed, but my favorite is the pimento cheese burger. Wow! Oh and did I mention the staff? From the owner down to the servers, they always make you feel at welcome and home. Keep up the great work!!!
