Wake Up Coffee Company

Decided to take a run to the closest coffee shop on my weekend vacation. Very happy and excited that a shop I had been following on Instagram was 1.7 miles away. A nice morning jaunt. Got there to a very clean pleasant atmosphere and got an iced coffee. I usually don't drink cold coffee but I was mid morning run and a cool down beverage was needed. Very good iced coffee. Wish I had asked what coffee was used to make it.
Staff was extra friendly and I was excited to see some coffee equipment (espresso machine) I had never seen before.
My order was quick and was actually pretty inexpensive. Definitely a best case scenario for coffee on St Simon island.

What a beautiful space they have made here for enjoying coffee and treats and friends!

We love coming here when we visit and each time we come, the space looks bigger and brighter and more welcoming.

I love the Turtle Mocha and the wife likes Honey Vanilla Raspberry!

Pro tip! Pick up a bag of coffee and they will give you a free coffee as well, a great way to get some for now and some later! :)

Cool coffee shop. A big space with wicked high ceilings, and a nice modern feel to it. The high ceilings create a noticeable echo, so that place doesn't score high on the "warmth" factor, yet it's still a place I bring a laptop and hang. The coffee is pretty good. They don't have Cortado's on the menu (a coffee sin:), yet they made me one anyway:) Overall a nice experinece, clean, friendly.

Island mocha is very unique and delicious, a bit on sweeter side but I enjoyed it. Vanilla latte is really good too. We liked their avocado toasts as well. The atmospheric is nice and the staff are very welcoming.

Stylish, simple, quaint coffee shop. Very reasonable prices. GREAT waffles! So fresh.
Not very much seating, though, and parking can get scarce during a busy time.

This place is such a gem! I go a few times a week to focus on work.
EVERYTHING I have ordered has blown me away. Even the peanut butter toast has my taste buds jumping for joy. Avacado toast - next level. Chai latte - so fall and comfy. Specialty drinks - never disappoint.

The internet is fast and the vibe is perfect with a great mix of music. There is even a conference room up top that you can reserve for larger private meetings.

The staff make this place feel like home. They will make any drink you request even if it’s not on the menu. The food bites are all fresh, when they run out they are out because they focus on quality. This is the way to run a coffee house.

Great little spot for coffee and treats. We had a drip coffee and a mocha. And, they had fresh baked scones that we couldn’t pass up cinnamon and raspberry white chocolate. Oh, and the peanut butter no bake treats were our fav!

Amazing service here. I ordered a coffee and Avocado toast, unfortunately they didn’t have Avocado so refunded my whole order and made me a peanut butter and banana toast which was out of this world! The coffee was very good, I wish they hadn’t refunded me as I was happy to pay and will certainly be back. I travel all over the world and this is one of the best customer service experiences I have had.

Island mocha was so yummy! The staff was super friendly and informative. Okay, the chocolate chip cookie was a bonus. We will be back!
