Had a family breakfast here recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had bacon, eggs, biscuits, steak & eggs and toast. All came out delicious and it’s easy to see why this place is highly rated. Staff was friendly and helpful, and came by and refilled coffee regularly.

Overall, we had a great visit and we would come back again!

Hidden gem! Hole in the wall spot that's easy to miss, but this place has the absolute best breakfast/brunch on the island...hands down! We went for the first time yesterday and it was so good that we went back again this morning. Highly recommended the "Surf Squared", blueberry pancakes, and the pimento cheese grits! My husband got steak and eggs one morning and blackened cobia with cheese grits the next morning. All were incredible! Go try it, you won't regret it!

Just walked out. We were seated right away, had drinks right away, then were ignored for 20 minutes. 2 other parties, inc. a party of 5, had their food before we ordered. We walked. Tried Sunday, were told 45 minute wait. Was 1.5 hours. We went elsewhere. Shame, we are good tippers who appreciate good service. We won't be back.

Dined in here today for brunch and it was good! I ordered the steak and eggs and it was pretty tasty! The steak sauce that the dish is served with was my favorite part! I also ordered a blueberry pancake on the side and I would say that was “ok” .. not bad by any means but just okay. The ‘Coastal Delight’ and the ‘Tuscan’ were also ordered by members in my party and both meals were enjoyed ! I do have to add though, the vibe and overall ambiance of the restaurant was different than I expected based of off what I saw on the menu online. Online I got more of a “fancy” upscale brunch sort of vibe when in reality it was more of a diner brunch vibe. It was very small on the inside, tables fairly close together, open kitchen and drink station (which made it pretty loud and distracting while eating) you could see and hear the servers making drinks, polishing and rolling silverware as well as the kitchen calling and preparing orders. Just something to keep in mind based on what you are looking for in your own personal dining experience.

First time at Palmer's. Highly recommend by other guests of the Village Inn and Pub. Well worth the short wait on a Sunday morning. Wife had the special. Pita with scrambled eggs, chopped pork loin and white cheddar cheese with special mayo. I had 1/2 stack of pancakes with bacon and sausage. If I'd known that they were the size of a dinner plate, I'd ordered a single. Rob and staff were fantastic! Definitely be back on our next time in town.

This Cafe is the main reason we spend our holidays at St. Simon's Island. It has atmosphere, excellent food and service. Artwork on the wall from local artists (for purchase if you want) and a great menu. Highly recommended.

We had the reuben, crabcake sandwich, tuscan omelet, and waffles. The food was well prepared and service was pleasant. All concurred that they enjoyed their meals. Finally, you pay in the front of the dining area which we were confused about. Good food .

The steak was good, crab omelette was good, and the french toast was EXTREMELY good. The grits were among the best I've ever had, and whatever sauce they put on the steak was great too. We ordered and the food came out within 10 minutes. Not saying you should expect it to be that fast, but ours was crazy fast. Service staff was very kind and attentive and we never had an empty drink at any time. This is as close to a 5 star brunch place as any could hope to be.

Had the grilled biscuit with in house marinaded salmon with a cheese spread, 2 eggs, and grits. It was something to write home about. I have never had anything just like it— mildly seasoned but very tasty and delicious. Eclectic atmosphere with friendly efficient service. I will definitely be back.

About a half hr wait on a Sunday morning.
A local told us it was worth the wait. He was 100% right. You would think breakfast is breakfast but not at Palmer's, they take it up a notch.
