Rooted Coffeehouse

This has become one of my new favorite coffee places. So cute. The Lattes and food are exceptional and the service is amazing!!!💕

Great atmosphere! Good eats! The sweet ham sandwich is bomb!

I visited for the first time today and I was soo impressed! I had the turkey brie on a pretzel bun...Amazing! I may need start off every week with Rooted Coffeehouse. Also, it's such a cute shop and the employees were nice. 10/10 def recommend.

The best coffee shop in Evans/Augusta area. Their coffee and breakfast sandwiches are so yummy and fresh. Wish they would open a second location closer to my house. I drive right past Starbucks to get to Rooted every time.

I went to rooted for the first time yesterday. The coffee (iced white mocha) was seriously the best I've had from anywhere. The han and cheese sandwich was the size of my head. And everyone was so friendly. Definitely going again and again.

Ever feel like you disturbed the vibe or your business was not wanted? That's exactly how I felt this past Wednesday. My son had an early class in the plaza so I decided to get some coffee while I waited. I walked in and two women kept looking me up and down, didn't think much of it until I realized they were possibly about to do professional pictures or an interview..either way I said excuse me walking thru to order and made sure to wait for my drink far off to the side, to not be in the way. They still kept glaring at me and the young lady making my coffee, hoping she would make it fast so that I would leave (maybe) and as I left I had to walk thru them again and politely say excuse me...as the door was closing I heard one woman say "Thank God" and the other one laughed. If they were the business owners that's disgusting.

Only receiving two stars because the young ladies at the counter/window are always nice and the drinks are good.

This is a really great local coffee house that makes amazing drinks. I will definitely start coming more regualarly,it is clean and its a good enviornment to get work done, or to just hang out. Truely great staff, they always treat you with kindness and respect and they always have a smile on their face.

UPDATE: We have come back multiple times and have really had excellent service!

Food is outstanding. Lemme just leave it right here... Bluebs and cheese may be one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth.

ORIGINAL POST: Amazing food, questionable understanding of customer service.

We have eyeballed this place from afar for a short while, and took the opportunity today to try it. Attractive, pleasant decor, amazing menu. Food was excellent!! Staff was pleasant and engaging except for one glaring and confusing occurrence.

I asked if my wife could taste the jam that was an ingredient on a sandwich, but after consulting in the kitchen, the cashier came back and told us, "No you can't get a taste, but you can order the sandwich with the jam on the side so that you can taste it and then decide if you want it on the sandwich."

My wife then asked, "So I can't just TASTE it?" The young lady simply said, "No."

So my wife ordered something else, cheaper.

I haven't decided if the food was good enough for me to go back, yet.

Visited here while in Augusta today and I will say this is by far the best latte I have ever had and believe me I have had lots of latte lol. They have a variety of milk options. Lots of vegan and vegetarian sandwiches and bowls. I also got a coffee cake muffin that was out of this world. The folks were super friendly, service was great and the overall vibe makes me want to go back every time I am in Augusta! Support local!
