I like to support local places and would certainly order from here more often if it didn't take 30 - 45 minutes for ONE bubble tea. That aside, the few times I have gotten their bubble tea, it has been very delicious.

Your must try this awesome and cute cafe. The owner is so nice and really helpful, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. Everything I have purchased so far has been amazing and tasty. Everytime you come to MaddLuLu's cafe you will mostly likely try something different, and you won't regret it. MaddLuLu is also a black owned business, that you should support. If you visit to MaddLuLu's, it won't be your last visit.

MaddLulu is a place that doesn't just sell drinks, they sell art. Have you ever had a drink that could transform? I can now say that I have after venturing here. Imagine a drink that has a new taste when you take a sip from the top, when you sip it from the straw, then a brand new drink after you mix them up. MaddLulu brings that vision to life.
I had quite the difficult time choosing what I wanted from multiple delicious looking choices on the front of the menu. Then I opened the menu, to reveal another vast selection of delicious options to choose from. Sounds intimidating? Do not worry though, because their welcoming staff will help and guide you through your experience to insure the happiness of your taste buds. You will search far and wide to find a business that is as passionate about their work as MaddLulu.
Often than not, I have seen this place make off the menu request, and would even throw in suggestions to help you enhance your vision. This is a business that legitimately thrives off of the happiness of their customers. So if you are looking for a great way to add a "pick me up" to your day, look no further than this place. MaddLulu is a place that doesn't just sells drinks, they sell art.

I was just overall disappointed with this place. The staff seemed aloof and unorganized. There was a lack of urgency and just general confusion with every order taken. I was told one item of my order, a "bubble cone" would require a short wait. I was told this AFTER I has already paid, but I felt I could wait a short while. I had two other items on my order: a regular ice cream cone and an iced mocha. Both came out fine. Although it did take at least 3 people to make the mocha and over 10 mins to make.
Long story short:
The short wait for my "bubble cone" passed the 30 min mark. The staff seemed to be getting more and more flustered and agitated at everyone. There was a line growing and there were increased customer volume.
I never got my bubble cone. I just left. 30 mins for an ice cream isn't worth it. I also never got a reason for the delay despite me asking 3 times. I was never offered and alternative or any kind of explanation. When I asked about it again around the 35 min mark I was just told "we haven't started on it yet" and then it was explained to me there were a lot of orders.
I had already received all other items from my order, and all the other customers before me seemed to have been served and had left. I was tired and just told them to cancel the order. I didn't even ask for a refund. I just wanted to leave.
Maybe they are better on slower days? Maybe the staff had an off night? Whatever the case, they were unprofessional and overall rude. Nothing there seemed to be worth the hassle of what customers were going through.
On this experience I cannot reccomend this place.

I love coming to this place! Wendy makes the best drinks. I asked for something fruity and she customized a drink for me with fresh fruit.
