Excellent value and quality. Food is very reasonably priced and seasoned perfectly. I ordered on uber eats and the order came hot and perfect even though i had modifications. The staff was super friendly and they did everything possible to accommodate us. This is my first review and they really do deserve praise. Best soul food in augusta hands down. Will definitely order again. Me and my wife is stuffed

2/10/2019. Great place for a home cooked meal. Friendly atmosphere. Shaquila provided outstanding customer service. I had the meatloaf with collard greens, cabbage and cornbread. Good serving size for those who are watching their portion sizes. The only down side of the meal was that the coffee tasted like freshly brewed tea. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a home cooked meal.

Waiting 47 minutes for two entrees is not going to be able to happen again and respectfully, it's non negotiable. The food is good but not at that time expense.

I got BBQ chicken with collards, corn bread and Mac n cheese. Boyfriend got friend chicken and the same sides. He was disappointed with the fried chicken, which was the main reason we went there. Said it was average flavor and over breaded. My BBQ was very good as well as my sides. Waitress was real nice.

Great southern food. I highly recommend them. My issue was the wait time. I called in 15 minutes for a pick up and waited 25 minutes after a 15 minute drive to the location.

Needs some work inside and out. I will order to go but won't dine in again.

Well after waiting 10 mins to even be acknowledged for seating our lunch took over 45 mins... Oreder Fried livers with Broccoli casserole which is really rice casserole a side salad fries & 2 sweet teas! Ridiculous & I probally will not patronize again..

We always have to stop here and eat whenever we are near the Augusta area. We will even plan our trips around their hours. The hours are a bit weird since they are open on certain Saturdays and every fourth Sunday. The food is always fresh and hot when they bring it out to you and the staff has always been friendly. If you're looking for southern comfort food with great hospitality then this is definitely what you're looking for! Parking is on the street but we've never really had any issues with finding a place to park!

Food was great, server somewhat friendly. Had a large group sit right before we came in. No coworker support for her. After we were seated, watched at least 6 people get seated and served their food before us and I only saw half the restaurant. Racism still exists, whole busy place got quiet when we entered. By the way, I would be considered white. Waiting an hour for your food...not good for customer reviews. To be fair, they did offer us an extra side for the wait. To bad...the food was good, but I can't recommend.

Cafe 209 has since moved from their previous location near the river. It's now on 566 Broad Street. They changed location but the food is still just as good as before. I recently had lunch here and had the Fried chicken, rice and gravy, macaroni and cheese, and a cornbread muffin. The food was extremely delicious!!!! The food came out piping hot. I could hardly touch the chicken trying to eat it. Everything was cooked to perfection. I have no complaints about the service, food, or location!!!!
