Really good especially on Friday's. We came in for the 1st time today. The staff was super friendly, the place was clean and cool (emphasis on cool. Nobody's got time for this GA heat rn). We explained it was our 1st time and took some of the waitress' recommendations. I got the fried pork chop, macaroni and cheese and potato salad. Potato salad was amazing the mac was disappointing. It was dry and not cheesy enough. My bf got flounder & shrimp (friday only special) the flounder was amazing, juicy, flaky, and delicious. Batter wasn't too heavy just all around good. He had greens and those were good. All in all definitely worth a visit & we'll be back to try some other specials

My coworkers took me here last year and I'm so glad they did. Cafe 209 has become my favorite place for southern good. I'm normally indifferent about fried chicken but i LOVE theirs, perfect crisp with juicy chicken. Its not a super quick stop as the food is made fresh (so worth it). Everyone I've met there has been great and treats you like an old friend. Desserts are delicious. Food is reasonably priced. Just wish they were open for dinner or weekends so I could go more!

Cafe 209 USED to be the standard...a community staple. My entree (hamburger steak) was mediocre at best. The mashed potatoes definitely tasted fresh from the box. My field peas and cornbread were enjoyable. The yams were awesomeness but not enough to warrant the wait. I placed my order on Doordash and still waited almost 1 hrs after I arrived. When I finally got my food the order was accurate on the receipt but incorrect in the box. By the time I got home NO WAY was I going back to wait again. I'll try again in a few months. Hope you guys pull it together.

Visiting from Michigan and I’m impressed! Soul food spot to eat at for sure!!! I had the cornbread dressing (only on Thursday), Mac n cheese and country fried steak! Excellent!
