The Lab Coffee - West Tampa

Open and friendly atmosphere for any person to stop for a coffee. The team are always open for convo otherwise they let you chill and do your thing.
They roast their own coffee too, good roasters. Coffee Bean Brain Peter is... no pun, just a genius roaster. Sip an espresso you will understand.

Great coffee and the food is amazing!

Both sandwiches we ordered were not correct. After 5 minutes the “chef” came out in a daze and asked “uhh what am I making again?”. Eggs were pre made patties. Coffee was fine

Best iced latte of my life, and it is consistently great every time. Very friendly baristas, easy parking, laid back atmosphere. The Lab is my favorite coffee shop anywhere.

Wow! Ok. Just came back for the first time in over a year and they've really built out the place! A.C. and WiFi were not part of the first build but now they are :)

Coffee is great and they also sell by the bag. I just had the cerrado and it was excellent in my French press. Exactly what I hoped for. I made it for someone else and she also thought it was excellent. There are 3-4 favorites that I have around town and that variety is on that list.

They also provide coffee for a lot of local coffee shops so if you've been to Spaddys, etc. Then you've definitely had their coffee or espresso!

I was there for that 1 Star Jackie Becker review and it is certainly a farce. The staff at The Lab and especially Jason are friendly and go above in beyond for their customers. I promise you any 1 star review about masks is certainly an indication of the ego of the customer and not of Jason.

I don't know how it took me so long to write a review for this place. Probably because I'm sitting at the bar talking to the friendliest baristas in the south east all day and forget to write about it on Google. Jason, Peter, and Kiran are the best thing that's happened to coffee in Tampa. They are super rad guys and the coffee they make is unparalleled. Any venture they pursue will succeed. I cannot wait to see how the Lab blossoms.

First time here, friendly staff with exceptional coffee knowledge. Highly recommend cold brew and hangover waffle sandwhich. Love the industrial atmosphere and more importantly love supporting a quality local business.

I tried the aeropress for the first time today and it was an very unique and delicious coffee experience. One of the owner's Jason, was very nice and welcoming. This is a great organic coffee shop, you definitely need to stop here and try their coffee!
