The Lab Coffee - West Tampa

Lovely coffee, great food, great service. Love the atmosphere. Very chill and casual.

The place is good and the staff are super friendly, i took a flat White coffee and it was good.

I usually like the coffee but today I ordered a veggie quiche and it was covered with gobs of cheese and slimy texture wound up throwing most of it away. Pumpkin muffin was cold and kind of hard and didn’t offer to heat it up plus I had to wait ten minutes to be given a cold hard muffin. Coffee was very strong today.

They also would benefit from adding some creamer, milk or non dairy options to the self serve area. Having to ask the server to add creamer after the fact is annoying and distracting to all parties. There is some room for efficiency improvement in this place.

Other than that solid coffee spot def recommend their drinks.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Tampa! This is a great local CRAFT coffee shop. They have amazing food and muffins. The staff is awesome and they are respectful and welcoming to service animals which is a huge plus! I love it here I wish I lived up the street.

UPDATE: I just moved up the street and I go here pretty much everyday! The coffee is strong, bold and HIGH QUALITY. The food is amazing and the sriracha mayo is like crack! Me and my girlfriend have been coming here for a while. I am more of a sweet coffee drinker and my girlfriend loves her bitter coffee. The lab never fails to satisfy both of our coffee preferences! Number one coffee spot hands down!

Fantastic coffee bar which used to be located out in Lutz under the name Zeal, but now they’ve moved up in the world and are brewing coffee in Tampa.
Pete and Jason are great and know so much about coffee and how to brew it to perfection. My wife and I love coming here to drink coffee and play BoardGames but if you are a coffee aficionado and want coffee that is brewed and roasted to perfection come check this place out!

Stopped by to check this place out... It was alright, the nitro brew was the best thing we tried, but other than that we wouldn't go out of our way to find this place again. Nothing stuck out as bad, we just enjoy the coffee and ambiance of the other local coffee shops better.

Their cold brew is awesome. Take it from a coffee snob who has ordered a cold brew from every city from Ft. Worth to Ocala. Strong and creamy without being too much of either. It rivals my local coffee shop's cold brew. Although I almost didn't find the place because it's tucked away on a quiet street. It would be my loss if I missed it. Next time we're in the area I will have to stop back in for another amazing cold brew coffee.

Great coffee, excellent sandwiches and a cool vibe. The staff and service were awesome as well. For sure worth checking out.
