Just wow. Great coffee. When you get a fancy coffee, it's not so sugary to hide the cheap coffee used. Really good. Flavor, not sugar. Wish they had frozen coffees. My wife prefers hot and I prefer frozen. So, unfortunately we don't go there often since they don't have something for both of us. All they need is a blender.

Stopped in Monday for my usual morning coffee and had such a good experience with my barista, Nick. Customer service is hard to come by, and as a former barista, I really appreciated his attention to detail with kindness and compassion. I judge my experience in retail stores by how quickly and genuinely I'm greeted and how easy to receive service from the customers are, and in a sea of people who have seem to lost touch and stopped caring, I was genuinely impressed with my interactions with Nick and was surprised at someone to truly cares about their service and job. It's the little things. Thanks Nick.

I wish they had coffees you didn't have to ask them to sweeten. I don't know anybody who would order a mocha anything and expect just bitter coffee mixed with bitter cocoa. I also had a blueberry muffin; that was great and why they get three stars from me instead of two.

Amazing coffee in a great location with excellent service. You will probably like this place if you enjoy a tasty light-medium roast with good flavor. In my opinion, this is Tampa Bay's best coffee on offer.
The taste pairs with the vibes of Downtown Tampa very well. I usually get the nitro with vanilla and lavender (was suggested to me on my first visit), and it tasted so good that I just kept coming back for it. The flavor is smooth, light and airy, yet strong enough to pack a punch. Very talented coffee roasting abilities. Very tasty coffee.
On my last visit, they didn't have any nitro, so I asked the guy for a Cold Brew creation of his own, he asked me a question or two about my coffee preferences, and he had a look on his face like he knew exactly what to do. 45 seconds later he handed me this beautiful concoction, I said thank you very much and walked out the door. This whole process of walking in, talking, paying, and leaving took only 2-3 minutes.
Very simple and elegant modern interior styling, nice to look at, but not so fancy as to be off-putting.

Downtown location is so much better. All I ordered was a Croissant and a latte. 20 minutes went by and still no food. Had to go up to the counter and beg just to get my order. Definitely won't be going back to this location

Kah-Naw thanks
I have had Kahwa coffee at many of their stores and establishments and I feel that I have a large enough sample size to say: their coffee is not great. The presentation is nice and places always to be well kept and clean. But the coffee needs that punch you don't get when you drink it. It just doesn't have any body at all. It is just a weak roast or the bean blend is not good. Maybe adding a shot of espresso to each drink you order might help but I doubt it. Try the coffee at Bandit coffee in St Pete. It is a better cup for your caffeine fix.

By far the best coffee. Starbucks is like drinking hot water. The pastries are delicious. Everything here is top notch and not processed junk like mainstream America franchises. They use organic milk, croissant dough flown in from France and baked on site. Plus they're cheaper than Starbucks.

Best Coffee in town for years. Absolutely love this place. I've been going to Kahwa since the very first one opened up in St Pete and I've been to others across the bay as well. They are all fantastic. Locally roasted beans by a local family.

This place is the bomb. Delicious coffee and super friendly/sweet people who work here.
I have come here multiple times and have never once had a actual problem. Only “negative” thing I’ll say, is man that damn speaker when ordering really sucks. Sometimes it’s hard to hear (on both ends it seems) and sometimes I don’t think a noise or whatever goes off when you pull up to it. I think it needs a upgrade. Doesn’t make the experience anything less then what it is which is great to me :) I’ll definitely continue to go here!

If you want the BEST COFFEE in Tampa go to Kahwa Coffee. Wow—what a FANTASTIC cup of coffee—so amazing we bought beans to take home!! A smooth rich bean without one drop of bitterness... a double espresso and a coconut latte hit the spot. Outside tables and WiFi for those who can’t tear away from electronics.
