I commend Kahea for their excellent coffee, friendly staff, and calm ambiance.
My only friendly comment is that I hope in the future Kahwa can have the option to offer different kinds of healthier white, brown, and other types of breads 🍞 for their sandwichs.
Thank you.

Don't get me wrong the coffee and croissants are amazing! However, I think everytime I have been there, something has been wrong with my order. They either need a new speaker box for the outdoor orders, or they just don't listen well when ordering inside. Coffee great! Food good! Listening and order taking apparently awful.

I know that this place has a reputation for good coffee but neither my friend nor myself got something that we would describe as good. I got a cold brew which was almost tasteless and she said her latte was just average. My other friend ordered a bottled orange juice after asking the cashier if it was pulp-free. He said it was not. So not the best experience for our first time here.

Favorite place to get coffee in all of Tampa. Very inviting atmosphere, friendly (sometimes endearingly aloof) staff. Always a fun time. I wouldn’t come here if you’re in a rush-definitely a slower place but that’s what I love. Coffee is too bougie these days and Kahwa keeps it humble.

I placed an order at this location yesterday. I was so glad to find a coffee shop other than Starbucks with a drive through window. I ordered a Latte with Lavender and a roasted red pepper quiche which were both amazing. My boyfriend ordered a macchiato with a turkey and cheese croissant sandwich. He said he would have liked more than one piece of turkey on his sandwich but other than that everything tasted good.

Always a great cup of coffee and a calm, quiet environment in which to enjoy it. The music is background...not bombarding. Much appreciated! Now if folks wouldn't conduct a business meeting on their phone with the speaker on. Seriously! ❤

Friendly service, good coffee, and I LOVE that We Vegan Eats sells cookies and breads here.

The staff at this location were the best! It’s always nice when people don’t rush you out the door, and take the time to just be nice humans, which is exactly what they did (no there was not anyone behind me waiting). They made my drink exactly how I wanted, which because it’s simple is sometimes frustrating when it’s not made correctly. Plus the vegan snickerdoodle was still perfect, not to hard or soft! I recommend a stop in for any afternoon pick me up!

I’ve been coming to kahwa (various locations for years). Over the past couple years, specifically recently, the breakfast sandwiches are just awful. They don’t cook/prepare them the way they used to and it’s a 50/50 gamble. When they are made properly, it is to die for, and I’ve been eating them for years. It’s frustrating because there is really no where else to get a good croissant sandwich. Also, never order more than one croissant sandwich- it seems as though they all get put into the microwave together and are not cooked evenly. I ordered three sandwiches for my husband and I yesterday and they were all – literally – cold and hard. The cheese tasted like it was straight out of the fridge. This scenario has happened nearly every time we order more than one sandwich and we use the drive thru and don’t have time to come inside to have it fixed. On the bright side, I don’t drink coffee anymore, but when I did, I loved kahwa’s hot lattes. Certain drinks aren’t that great but the small hot lattes were always great!
