Bula Kavananda Kava Bar & Coffee House

Really nice vibe, coffee was delicious, and the music was fitting for the feeling of the establishment. Place seems animal friendly, lots of people brought their cute pups. Parking was difficult to figure out; we ended up parking in a nearby neighborhood but it’s actually directly behind the building, just hidden a bit. Only docked a star because one customer was so extremely loud that her laughter was ear grating, and quite obviously upsetting the rest of the patrons, and it didn’t seem like the staff mentioned for her to consider the other people in the building. They just kinda let her keep talking at max volume and basically screeching every time she laughed, which nearly made me and my group leave but she, thankfully, left first. So, keep in mind the place is very small and you should keep the volume to a considerate level for other guests :) I’ll definitely go back though; it’s a very chill and relaxing place!

Great kava/coffee shop located in the bungalow style house. Authentic Seminole Heights vibes, friendly atmosphere, great crowd and staff. Many daily specials, events, and activities for socializing. It has great corner for work and study. Reasonable prices. A true hidden gem in Tampa!

Good to see kava bars in Tampa but the music is way too loud. Have to yell the drink order. However, I can see this as intentional to keep customers from patronizing the place too long considering the parking situation

Great place to chill and have a good conversation. Jason is a rock star! Good spirit and great Customer service! Im a regular now.

This place is a great place to enjoy your coffee . Very laid back with a great selection of drinks . We will be back .

The owner is about as nice a guy as you can get. I will always support businesses that take care of their employees. On top of all that it has a great atmosphere and great drinks. 👍

This review is just based off my Uber order and attempt to visit once.I’ve never actually been inside because of the parking situation but the atmosphere looks welcoming .I ordered iced coffee twice from here it was pretty bad both times and once I’ve tried visiting but the parking was ridiculous so we left.I will maybe try visiting/ordering again.

I go here to work 3-4 times a week. My favorite place to get stuff done. The atmosphere is nice. It's easy to focus. It does get busy in the evenings though. Mornings are my favorite. I only wish that they opened earlier. :)

They have decent product, but I've found a lot of patrons are a bit snobby, and the owner doesn't really play well with others.

Still a great place to go. The staff is very friendly and it has a nice atmosphere. The drinks are some of the best in the area. It's always a joy to come here.
