The Sweet Shop has a long history of serving FSU students. History is literally written on the walls here, and the staff make sure you have everything you need. In this iconic place, students can always be sure to have a quiet getaway to study, relax, and enjoy another day at FSU. The food and drinks are great as well.

We heard about The Sweet Shop from a counselor with the FSU Music Camp, and wow! They were so right!
We grabbed breakfast and lunch on a Sunday here - service was inviting, friendly and excellent, food was accurate and absolutely delicious. Tables were clean, wide variety of seating and menu options, aimed at the college crowd (obviously), but many families there too.
Thanks for filling our bellies with your delicious breakfast & lunch. The strawberry smoothie, root beat float and grilled cheese were our favorites.

I walked in and didn’t get a greeting. Now I’m not entitled to one so I shrugged it off and waited at the front by the register. I saw an employee but never got acknowledged.
I waited for about 5 minutes max and just walked out. It was pretty low lighting and there were signs on the tables saying you couldn’t sit there with outside food—I get that concept but it just added to the whole experience. I read energy and it felt pretty negative in there.
Maybe I’ll stop back in at a different time and see how that goes. It was 2 when I visited.

I have come here incredibly frequently for years and I love this place! The owner is so kind and the service is very quick. Great place to hike up for finals!!

Owner yelled at an employee in front of
customers for something extremely minor,
and based on his responses to negative
reviews his toddler-like behavior is
consistent. He'll say I'm lying but I know
what I saw and the food is honestly bad, like
microwaved jimmy dean sandwiches are
better. If it wasn't for the convenient location this place would’ve been closed years go!

Selection seemed limited. Had to eat elsewhere. Great location. Quaint place with cool history. Parking was too complicated and a waste of time-- had to download an app only to find out Sundays were free.

What I like about this Cafe is its proximity to the campus, gynourmous menu, and friendly environment. Highly recommend it. Their Chai Late is the best!

This is one of the best coffee spots I’ve ever been to. The coffee is perfect and the breakfast sandwiches are amazing. The owner has great energy and is always very welcoming. I go here all the time and it’s always a pleasure. This place keeps me going. I always look forward to doing work there.

Very cute and quaint little spot, definitely a sort of institution in its own right at FSU, I got a sausage egg and cheese bagel and it was quite honestly one of the best things I’ve ever had for breakfast, along with perfectly ripe strawberries and what was the best mango smoothie I’ve ever had. It was a little expensive but I’d say it was worth it, the atmosphere was great and while I was a little intimidated by owner, he does a run a tight ship effectively so props to him. Highly recommend!
