Food Glorious Food

Food was very flavorful, but I was looking for a little more diversity in texture and size of entree for the price. Do not skip desert!!! Absolutely wonderful desert menu. Big portions with beautifully developed flavors 😍 Will totally be back🙌

Service at this establishment is terrible. Even with a reservation, my group waited 45 minutes (after multiple polite inquiries) to even get our drinks...though one of us had to wait 1.5 hrs to get a drink! After speaking with the manager, we agreed to give the restaurant another chance, however there were multiple mistakes on entree orders and all told it took 2.5 hours just to get dinner. One waitress was literally in the middle of taking dessert orders when another waitress walked up and started handing out checks (that had not been requested). The food was good, but definitely not worth the hassle. Then to add insult to injury, they added a non-negotiable 20% gratuity to our bill that was completely undeserved. The staff and manager were completely unapologetic for the experience. I hope they split tips with the kitchen staff because they were the only people tonight that earned it! Definitely would not recommend to anyone and will not be going back!

Outside seating was great. Food was fantastic. Our server was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to have serving us. Will definitely be going back.

Everything was delicious! I had the cortadito and the bacon, egg and cheese an an English muffin. It was a hearty serving and the best coffee I've ever had! Service was great too!

Perfect place for a brunch with the one you love or with the girls!

Frankly a bit disappointed in my first trip to FGF after hearing so many great things over the years.. Don't get me wrong, the overall experience was fine but there is a bit more expected when you are paying the prices they set. Appetizers must have come out 2 minutes after we ordered.. yet the spinach dip was luke-warm at best. Entrees were okay but at the price point you expect a bit more.. Curry dish was setting my mouth on fire (for reference I make my own hot sauce, I LOVE hot) and when asked if they could do anything, the chef simply threw some water in the already prepared dish.. I mean seriously? And when we said it was still not right they didn't make any effort to accommodate.. Did not feel satisfied paying what we did for a BDAY dinner that fell short.

FYI Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian Perspective: A charming place that strives for but fails to achieve glorious. Black bean cakes lack flavor and come across as flat. FGF team altered Mac and Cheese to vegetarian, this item obviously missing something, which made sense as the meat was missing. FGF Pasta was astonishing in its scarcity consisting mainly of pasta and olive oil with an occasional lonely tomato. The cakes and pies are good, but often too sweet and some not as fresh as could be expected.

Desserts sampled so far include: Carrot (very good and but too sweet), Key Lime Pie (excellent), Pineapple Upside down cake (very good and but too sweet), Hummingbird (good quality but nonplussed about which way to go on this one).

As a vegetarian would return for dessert items and breakfast. Dinner is not worth the price.

My first time vising was last night for a dinner party. I can say the décor is beautiful and the service was good. The parking is horrible just to give you a heads up. I rate this restaurant a 2 because the food was really good however they are highly overpriced and they don't give you enough for what you're paying for. $32 for a piece of salmon was definitely not worth it. I will not return

They are very accomadative to allergies. I informed the waitstaff that I was allergic to corn, soy and wheat, and I was still able to enjoy a delicious brunch!

It's all in the name. Great service also.

Edit: downgrading my review due to my recent dinner experience. I paid $37 for a 5 oz steak with some straw fries on it. I don't mind paying for good food and I am not a big eater, but that was a rip off. The service was a bit slow too. The food was still good, but I feel like I got duped. Won't go back anytime soon.

Some of what we ordered was excellent and some average. The restaurant itself was hot and felt like a rent a hall and the service was not good. We wont go back...maybe to sit outside but def not inside.
