A nice, small coffee shop. I loved my Colombian coffee pour over: worth the wait for that classic cup.
The murals are lively, keeping the space from feeling dull.
It was quite cold the day we went, but I can imagine in better weather with the overhead doors open it would be pure delight.
We tried the Build your Bowls. Baked and cubed scrambled eggs is a clever base. Ours arrived hot and generously topped.
I didn’t rate as 5 star due to the sleepy pace of service and that the gal behind the counter answered questions about the coffee with “I don’t really know.” Everyone is allowed to be new at a job. Hopefully, she’ll find out for next time.

We were in town while my husband was on a worktrip, and after reading the reviews, decided to give this place a try! So glad we did. We ended up eating breakfast here 2 days in a row. Food and drinks were delicious, and staff was friendly.

Catalina Cafe is a hidden treasure nestled close to the FSU campus. They are able to provide unique items on their drink and food menus all while using high-quality ingredients. The service staff is knowledgeable and is able to provide recommendations based on your interests. I recommend getting the vanilla lavender flavoring in your coffee the next time you're there!

I ordered the Turkey Brie Raspberry Regular. It came with a bag of chips-
no substitutes allowed but the sandwich was really good.I think the sandwich was slightly overpriced compared to the other sandwiches on the menu but overall it was good.

The coffee is great, and their breakfast hits the spot. Though I do wish they would use cardboard instead of plastic containers.

The cold brew is soooo yummy. The bagels and muffins are delicious. I come here every time work takes me to Tallahassee! 10 out of 10.

Here during spring break so the campus was a ghost town but I enjoyed the quiet vibe. Service was great. Friendly and attentive. Latte and pour over were fantastic and the breakfast sandwich was just what I needed. Love a proper cafe like this. Every town should have one. Can’t beat the location and the building is pretty cool.

Excellent espresso. Creamy and fresh! Nice to see a coffee shop actually have good coffee.

Really awesome place in a cool and convenient downtown location. I work midnights, so it's nice to be able to go straight to work and get a great cup of coffee and a warm meal. They've got lots of outdoors seating, but with the cold weather it's nice to dine inside. The atmosphere is great and super fitting for Gaines St, and the staff is very friendly.
But, onto the (literal) meat and potatoes of the review, the food and coffee were absolutely delicious. I ordered a Zoe's Revenge, which is a white chocolate latte, and it's damn near the best latte I've had the pleasure of sipping on. Complementing my coffee, I got the open-faced lox sandwich and it made for a tangy and filling start for my day. It's really hard to find bagels and lox in town! I'm glad that they not only serve them here, but that they're also positively delicious. I'd heartily recommend this to anyone looking for a bite to eat in the morning, or a cup of coffee at any time of the day.
