Sunrise Coffee Co.

We’re visiting from Indiana and decided to try this place. There were 5 of us and we all got different lunch items and they were all good. Lots of different coffee flavors, clean inside and outside. They even serve cocktails! The ladies in there were very nice and patient with us and our questions. Good food, good coffee, good service.

Nice location and cool shop interior but the food is left uncovered and there was a mosquito one one of the cinnamon buns we got. Also, the girl that took our order (younger Asian female) was EXTREMELY rude and talked to each person going through the line in a very condescending manner and made everyone uncomfortable and feel unwelcome.

Pretty good cup of coffee! Had a great selection of donuts and breakfast items as well. I love the location and atmosphere here. Limited seating inside though.

Quality food and tasty fresh baked goods. Coffee and hot beverages were good also. We found it slightly overpriced though ($11 for a wrap, $8 for an egg and bagel). Better mask enforcement would be great as the indoor space is small and can get crowded (but then again, a lot of people just don’t wear masks despite signs and notices as we noticed).

My coffee this morning was HORRIBLE. My husband and I got an iced coffee with the “not so plain vanilla” flavoring.” When we took a sip it was so disgustingly sweet. Like half our coffee was syrup. I told the barista it was too sweet and we both got the impression she was so irritated. All she did was pour it out and add more coffee. When my husband and I walked out we threw our coffee into the garbage outside. Don’t recommend and we will not be coming back here again.

11/27/21 ordered an espresso and a capacino. Terrible experience. The espresso was 3 oz of plain coffee and the capacino was just plain coffee with a lot of milk and a pink substance -maybe dish soap? Maybe they were just having a bad day, but I would not go there for coffee.

Very friendly staff. They were willing to make our drinks even though what we asked for was not exactly on the menu. 😁 Tasty drinks too!

Loved everything about the place. Only odd thing was how much more the iced coffee was than hot coffee. They bring in their donuts from a local bakery and the blueberry was amazing. My only word of warning is that when I ordered what I thought was a Boston cream (what it looked like and I ordered it by that name), the inside was buttercream frosting. So sweet I thought my teeth might rot out as I ate it! They have tons of coffee flavors using syrups, but their butter pecan coffee just black was so good, it didn't need anything else. Will definitely be back next time we're in Santa Rosa.

Visited several times during our beach trip. The staff were rude and impatient with tourists, which is odd given the location in a high tourism area. The coffee had a funny taste on the first visit but I gave it another try. Bad idea...we ordered 3 iced coffee that tasted sour. Thankfully, they gave us a refund. I was disappointed because I remember the coffee and service being wonderful when we visited 3 years ago.
