Bagel 13-Rockledge

I have gone to this bagel13 for years but in the last 4 weeks in a row they have not toasted my bagel I have called and said something about it and they swear they are running them through the toaster but they're still not toasted. If these people don't know how to operate a toaster it makes me worry about some of the other things they are cooking so I will no longer be going to this location

Just go to Panera Bread for Breakfast. They have more options that are baked fresh every morning and they don't run out an hour after opening since the store is ran properly.

If you've noticed, a significant portion of the positive reviews for this place are generic in nature. A lot of the negative reviews echo the same sentiments yet their review score is still artificially high.

But that's not the issue I have with my local Bagel13. No, the issue I have is that everytime I rely on them they're typically out of their most popular options for bagels by 9am. They're always mysteriously out of loaded smashbrowns, and when you do order smashbrowns, they have the stale texture of left over Denny's. Not a good thing.

Over the last month or so, customer service has declined. Now it just seems like everything is chaos. When I call to place an order, I am placed on hold indefinitely. Often times, I am still on the line by the time I arrive to the store yet this does not strike the person behind the counter as odd. (who doesn't wear a name tag, conveniently).

No supplies/Old food/Bad service 3 strikes and you're out. I have no way to reserve the bagel ahead of time because the staff doesn't take orders properly. Since the store doesn't actually trend what they sell effectively their popular options aren't available by the time I can arrive. This makes this place an impossible option.

I suspect that whoever is managing this individual store is also running a district and can't be bothered to watch individual points of waist. This store will probably fail again as it has in the past.

Edit: upon reviewing local options, Panera Bread freshly cooks Cinnamon bagels every morning and they're easily available. Their breakfast bagels are of much higher quality. I would recommend them as an alternative to Bagel 13 who cannot compete with the supply or quality of Panera Bread, sadly.

So living in Rockledge this place used to be Awesome. However, I haven’t been home in over a year because the military. I came here because i used to get bagel for breakfast daily. To begin: The RATTY looking girl working the counter was rude, they didn’t put the cream cheese on the bagel,cut or toast it, and they only gave me a tiny bit of Cream cheese. When I asked for more cream cheese she said no we can’t give you more that’s what it comes with sorry. This literally is not the same place it was, and it’s sad to say this, being it used to be my favorite place; I am NEVER coming back here EVER.

Cream cheese added to bagel while hot and wrapped right up left me with more cream cheese on the outside than inside impossible to even pick up.. Thankfully I was eating there so it was remade and was enjoyed..

When i walked into this business there where three employees sitting at the counter right by the front door eating chick-fa-la right out of a chuck-fa-la bag in clear view of everyone. One girl got up and went to the back, the other two sat at the counter and talked to loudly about me that I could hear every word of it. Why is her hair green? This chick doesnt have shoes annd so on. I indeed have shoes on they glue to the boot of your foot & my hair color shouldn't effect the service i receive. After all of that i ordered my bagel...only to get home and see it wasnt even the correct bagel. I will NEVER go back

So my wife doesn't like this place. She pines for the days of bagel world, but I have to disagree. One star off because it's a tad pricy compared to the old Bagel World up on Courtenay, but they made a pretty aggressive tomato bagel and their cold brew tastes better than whatever swill Starbucks is offering up. It gets my vote if you're in Rockledge and don't want to drive up to MI. Which if we are bring honest, who in their right mind would ever want to drive to the island unless they had to.

The new business partner has zero customer service skills. The staff is negative and not happy. When someone asks for a toasted bagel with cream cheese on it to go, it means just that not a side of cream cheese.

The cook needs training. He burned my bagel several times. No one washed there hands while handling food. Its covid... Do better..

"Ok" food. The two orders before mine were both wrong and the customers were frustrated. I don't think the employees handled it well either, basically showing no remorse or that they even cared there was a problem. One demanded his money back and said he was never coming back.

Doubt I'll be back either since it was just ok food.

Food is ok. Service was not good. I went an hour and a half before closing and they put the type of bagel I ordered away after I had already seen it and ordered it then said they were out. We were the only ones in the store. I also ordered two bagels but found out I was charged for three.
